  • How do they do the voices for the muppets? I mean how do they get the voice to sound like it's coming from the muppet's mouth & how do they make sure they do the voice at the right time; exactly when the muppet's mouth is moving?

  • @Stephen10528 The puppeteer below the puppet speaks at the same time he performs the character. So when he talks he moves his hand in sync with what he's saying.

  • @MontyMuppet12 Thanks but what's the answer to my 1st question; how does the puppeteer make his voice sound like it's coming from the muppet?

  • @Stephen10528 He's has a microphone headset that is live on set while he performs. They really just practice and become experts at timing hand to mouth movements.

  • Sheesh, they really work that laugh track, don't they?

  • "Never levitate the hard-of-hearing."

  • "Get your dirty hands off my filthy arm!"

  • Is that Dave Goelz providing the voice of Dr. Salamander?

  • Yes :)
