Absolutely unbelievable, should have been a number one, its got everything. Dunno if its my pc but i couldnt hear the bass at all in this, downloaded it and when you hear it properly its twice as good, if you can imagine! Absolute cracker. Cruel fate eh?

First time I heard this group, I bought their 45 for Teen Line and then I eventually found their 'Til the Word Gets Out LP. Amazing Power Pop for damn sure.

I saw "The Shivvers" several times in Milwaukee around 1980 and completly dug the band. Me and my buddy even ducked our heads into their dressing room and said hi. I must admit I was totally smiiten with Jill Kossoris.What a babe. I can't remember the name of the club I saw them at but I think it was the same place that Wendy O Williams of "The Plasmatics" was busted for indecent exposure. Milwaukee had a very heavy handed police chief at the time.
