  • The music of this intro is deeply beautifull. And also the video

  • I have been watching Voyager since it came out back when I was 4 years old.... This is my favorite tv show and Kate Mulgrew is my favorite actress...

  • 0:06 ♫Flintstones… meet the Flintstones.♫

  • there is no sound in space so why is it making the "swooosh" sound?

  • @lesedi711 the warp engines create a synthetic version of sound. Instead of causing air particles to expand and contract, it bends space it's self causing your eardrums to create a sensation much like sound. Notice, the soler explosions are silent. :-P

  • @SatanistSin thanks for the info man, makes me feel more like a treky knowing this. live long and...

  • @lesedi711 lol I really don't know though... I just made that up. It was pretty good though, right? I impressed my self. XD

  • @lesedi711 Becouse is science-FICTION.

  • @rinhorksith true but it is possible so dont knock it

  • creo que es uno de los mejores intros que e visto que recuerdos me trae me hacia alucinar ,,bueno todavia xd

  • I still tear up sometimes when I hear this.

  • This gives me sick nerd chills all over.

  • I spend whole elementary school watching this and now I'm downloading it to spend whole high school with it ;)

  • Voyager got me into Star Trek. I used to watch it every day when I came home from middle school. Love this intro.

  • @ajobe15 This guy...was a smart kid.

  • I havent been lied to like this since Obama.

  • This Star Trek theme always makes me cry.

I know I like the Star Trek TNG theme best!

  • I loved Voyager so much when I was little. I still do<3 :)

  • Fill me remmenber the portuguese voyager´s of 15th and 16th century´s when e see star trek.

  • Voyager is the best Star Trek. I've watched them all but you can't beat Janeway, Seven of Nine or any other the others. Voyager was also a great ship itself and had a more advanced and modern look to it than previous series. It also has a great intro with great music.

  • I love it. Voyger is one of my favourite Series and has got one of the best intros in my opinion. Star Trek Next Generation IS my favourite series ;)

  • sounds so majestic. love it!

  • Just watching Voyager's last season (ep.08 just played in my living room). In the past, I never managed to watch Voyager as much as I wanted - Just few episodes from the early seasons. Is there life after Season 7? I am not a 100% Trekkie, maybe close to 75%, but that is enough. I just love this series!

  • Seven

  • As far as themes go, this one rivals the first version of the DS9 theme... Though DS9 is still my favorite.

  • Janeway = :DDDD Do it or eeelse!

  • That intro just makes me wish...

  • Super voyager

  • i liked TOS TNG and Enterprise but I never realy liked this one becuase when it comes down to it is about a ship getting lost..... PLus i personaly think this shows charachterization sucked compared to others.

  • I remember when this show use to come on right after WWF/E Smackdown.

  • I love TNG and voyager. I watched them both as a child, and when i saw voyager i was like "Nooo, the stupid woman took the wrong way! I want data back"

  • its halo

  • You know, the tone Voyager had was a lot more... I don't know... realistic than TNG. TNG had that air of "Crazy stuff's going down, but we're just chillin' here", and DS9 was a lot darker. Voyager was a mix of those tones, and it felt right. Except for Q. Q sucked in Voyager.

  • In my opinion, the best instrumental score and intro of all the Star Trek series.... just beautiful.

  • @Skrayper highly agreed

  • this intro, it just feels soooo mighty, as if amazing things are about to happen.

makes me wanna watch voyager again ;D

  • This gave me nerd chills. A wonderful intro, one of the best I've ever seen.

And thanks for uploading in HD.

  • 115 peoplem got back to the alpha quadrant

  • 2 people died in the delta quadrant

  • TNG opening is hard to compete with... but this is damn good! xD

Am I one of the only people who finds it REALLY hard to decide which star trek spin off is the overall best between Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager?

  • @Locke217

I like Enterprise the most HAAHAH!

  • @Usul573

Are you sure you're commenting on the right video..?

Would've made more sense to say that on the video where I was bagging the show Enterprise... Not that it matters. Anyway congratulations, good 4 u.

  • @Locke217

Well it's just you didn't even mention Enterprise as a possibility, so I felt like being annoying or something, I dunno.

    So far I'm liking Enterprise.

  • @Usul573

Well ok that's nice. I certainly wouldn't want to use Enterprise in the same sentence as "the other shows", but to each his/her own.^ ^

  • Probably not my favorite star trek series, but definitely the best intro.

  • I've grown up my whole life with StarTrek. my mother even stayed home watching the Enterprise while she was in labour with my brother. Voyager is definately my favorite though. As much as I like Data and Worf, there's just something special about seeing Harry Kim, Tom Parris, B' Elanna and the rest of Voyager.

  • What's so sad is when you watch a series like this and when it all ends makes you realize it's all over.

  • @starflame34 yeah, lucky for me iv just started watching the Voyager tho, and I'm almost at the end of series 1 already :(

  • @starflame34

There's still the books, one cool thing about Star Trek is that it's essentially endless and it feels like their lives really do keep going on beyond what we see, quite a quality.

Just watching some of the silly edit videos online makes it feel like it's still going.

There's a darn lot of other sci-fi out there also..........

  • @Usul573 Atleast this series HAS an ending! Stargate Universe got cancelled in a cliffhanger!

  • @starflame34

Yeah that was totally lame, I think the writers should at least put out a 200 page book to give a way they feel it could have ended. SGU was ok I guess overall but I was sad that it ended like that.

Atlantis has books after the end, all the Star Trek series have lots of books connected to it, SG1 has books, Babylon 5 has lots of books, Dark Angel was canceled and had books, SGU just has a novelization of the first episode so far.

  • Oh man... those big silver and gold letters bring back memories...

  • When did this show aired on, the WB?

  • @bloodshotclam It aired on UPN, it was the flagship show, it launched the Network that Night. January 16, 1995 – May 23, 2001

  • Voyager is on Netflix no joke

  • I have every single episode of this show in my library and for good reason, this show is much better than the crap seen on today's television called reality TV shows where the producers hand pick the most stereotypical people of a demographic.

  • Star Trek Voyager Is The BEst I Wish I Could Be ON That VEssel And Travvel with them.

  • When this intro started it seemed so magnificent- the majestic ship flying through the unknown proudly and ellegantly.

And then Captain Janeway and her inept crew appeared on screen........

  • ah memories....

    just amazing

  • luv when the trumpets go deeper LUV THIS

  • An amazing song for an amazing show. Bravo! :)

  • love the music

  • so much emotion in those Titles... love the arrangement

  • my favourite star trek....

  • Thumbs up if this is what brought you in Star Trek!

  • 2nd worst series (TOS was the worst) and the dumbest Captain in the franchise, but damn the into theme is magnificent. TNG for life, yeah!

  • @gentleuterus Dumbest? Ha, Captain Janeway was an awesome Captain.

  • @jonu67 Jean Luc slept with Q first.

  • Anyone notice that at 1:17 through 1:21 there is a reflection of the ship on the rocks.

  • i swear this is the best star trek intro ever.

  • This show is so good! It is my favorite Star Trek series!

  • Oh man, I loved watching Voyager growing up! Best intro ever!

  • @ulyssesbrown5000 AGREED.....the show stands out as the best Star Trek series ever, we all have our favorites, but nothing compares to the storylines, and the characters, the actors who played them drew us all into their world, I followed this show every week from start to finish, and as a guy, I absolutely got teary eyed when they got home finally, like the show Lost, it was one of those shows that thank God someone made the right choices and allowed the show the go straight through.....

  • @stvoyager Exactly, for me it was the deepest and most touching series. I also loved this one more than most others because for the first time, the captain was a woman and I've always admired strong women. ^^

  • @ulyssesbrown5000 LOL.....My point, we all have our reasons for making this the best series ever in the Star Trek world...along with the average nine million viewers a week. lol.and yes on Janeway, was nice to see a woman take no ones crap....she stood her ground......one question to you or any other fan, can anyone still to this day tell me why when they jumped to warp did the warp nucells go up......this is the only ship I know that had that feature in any of the series.

  • @stvoyager Yes, they do go up. To my knowledge at least, the Voyager is the only ship or rather its model (Intrepid-Class) to do that. I always loved that feature! But then again the whole ship looked different than all the others; pointed nose, necells lower than the rest of the ship, ect. Oh and the only ship I ever saw actually making a landing on a planet surface which i always thought was impossible.

  • @ulyssesbrown5000 Yes and that as well LOL LOL....loved that feature......when they first showed that in The 37's from Season 2.....WOW was the words best to describe what I thought.

  • @stvoyager Captain Janeway was more inspirational than most other captains I think. She took shit from noone! Oh and I seem to recall her saying and I quote, "I don't respond well to threats...". xD

  • @ulyssesbrown5000

Nah. Jean-Luc Picard FTW. Janeway was an easy second place, but Picard takes the cake.

  • @IceHitman47 hell yeah he does

  • wow it must be over 10 years since i've seen this, but it's just one of those memories that doesn't go away

  • even non trekies love this. its the best series out of all the treks!

  • amazingly awesome intro

  • probably the most epic star trek intro ever

  • they need to make another star trek series... and not some stupid one of them in the PAST... we need to move forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENTERPRISE and KIRK shit sucks!

  • @billyv01 i half agree - there should be another star trek series set after voyager, but enterprise and kirk arent shit - just boring

  • I remember watching this as a kid with my dad and I hated it but now Its awesome to me :)

  • @TRicey9779 This brings me back to when I was freakin' 5 or so, when I'd always hear this theme from my bedroom. Ahh, nostalgia :)

  • @DustyMadman Same here buddy, this brings back great memories :) funny thing was that as a kid I never used to really pay attention to the show when I watched it, but now that I'm older I really wanna see it lol

  • @Truegenius23 Well sir/maam, just type in any show title for the series, I have found all of them so far on Youtube, someone or a bunch of people have been so nice to share it, Im living the show all over again, and forgot many things, Im on season 5, and am like a kid in a candy store again.....and if my memory serves me right, the best was 6 and 7, so the best is yet to come.....ah the show down with the Borg Queen on Endgame

  • Robert PICARDo

  • eargasm.

  • <3

  • I can tell you this about the intro, close your eyes and imagine you are on the Voyager. You are lost and millions of miles from home, yet you soar through the stars exploring and making new allies. I love this intro because it feels like you are an explorer at 0:29 I had goosebumps, the rhythm, the instruments, the bass are all perfect for this show.

  • @mchief190

imagine youre on the voyag-...? what? You do know its just a tv show, right?

  • @Jet134 but ofcourse...I enjoy going off the wall of reality every now and again

  • Anyone else think Voyager was the best of the franchise? Combined the best of TNG and DS9 and added some original elements. I watched like every episode of this when I was a kid. Although, no one can argue against Picard as the most epic captain ever. Janeway was a close second.

  • @PootStip

I pretty much agree with every word you said, as well as having watched almost every episode as a kid.

    Voyager = Best series

    Picard = Best captain

  • @ragnarok9899 BTW, if your name is in reference to the expanded universe Voyager book "Ragnarok", and not just the Norse myth, it is epic as well.

Yes, I am that much of a dork that I read the Voyager books, too.

  • Comment removed

  • @PootStip

    @PootStip

Nope, sorry, just the Norse myth :)

But I'll admit I nostalgia'd like a motherfucker when I saw the 3D Space Cadet Pinball video you fav'd.

  • You don't need words for the song, but I think it would have been worth it for them to try to find a way to fit a Kate Mulgrew rendition of the "Space... The Final Frontier..." Speech in the intro. Obviously it wouldn't be exactly the same as the Kirk/Picard speech, but still, that part is slighlty lacking. Nevertheless, an amazing intro sequence.

  • drop a tear.. a part of my childhood n youth.. dat's why I've always been fascinated by astronomy since I was 3.. n star trek makes me more curious bout my passion to future technology n astronomy. Luv voyager most.. great... thx for uploadin

  • This one and TNG are the best, DS9 is a close runner up, but they really jumped the shark when they did the intro for 'enterprise' - all that inoffensive softer than soft rock music...*shudder*.

  • @supereliptic DS9 is my favorite (TNG and Voyager are awesome as well)... but I do agree about the Enterprise intro. I just looked at all of the Star Trek TV intros and Enterprise is the worst... they should've stuck with non lyrical orchestra music like the rest. I think it gives the show a feeling of epicness that any type of lyrical song just can't provide.

  • @BishopS Yeah, your right. With lyrics, you have alot more variables that have to fit together in order to create the right feeling for the show, whereas its much easier to create an uplifting, but still subjective listener experience with just an orchestra and a good score. The thing is, Star Trek has never used lyrics in its theme songs, except the "to boldly go" intro piece, so thats the model that they should stick to. IMO The best sound track that Star Trek has had is from the 2009 movie.

  • after watching every season of DS9, and now just the first 2 seasons of voyager i've decided to stop watching because the characters are terrible, there's no development or great interactions like there was between the DS9 crew like Quark and Odo, Sisko and Dax, Jake and Nog, O'brien and Bashir...then the voyager's lost in space story, which is so poorly done, there's always the magic reset button at the end of each episode =\

  • the best theme

  • I can never ever be sad when I hear this song. :D

  • my dad used to let me watch this with him when i was a little kid :)

  • always shows this to mah mates when they say that star gate and star wars is better than star trek.

  • This intro always gives me goosebumps.

    I nostalgia'd hard.

  • aaah so many adventures I enjoyed watching of the USS Voyager!

  • @GodschildJCE Originally it was part of the show to do away with the USS part and use the Starfleet name instead, but in this timeline, To simply call it Starship Voyager was out of the question. So its name was designated NCC 74656 Wells Class Voyager, or NCC 74656-W Voyager

  • @GodschildJCE Then try reading some of the many books too you have the images and sounds in your head already time to expand on the Voyager universe.

  • omg i felt that trough my whole body

  • @thijsvriezekolk

    Tingles doesn't it?

  • made me wanna cry... this is one of the best sound qualities available for this intro... NICE! thanks a lot

    STAR TREK FOR EVER MORE!
