I love. It's not cliché , it's real. French movies are like that. always shooted in a bedroom or in a kitchen with the bottle of wine on the table...Wonderful.
Il faudrait faire la même chose mais dans une chambre à coucher .
The high point, the very pinnacle of emotion, is the great and terrible sigh at 463:68. It leaves one breathless and heartbroken at the plight of this poor man. The emptiness of his life (and this film) is all represented by that sigh.
This will be the best worst film of the decade, perhaps of this generation. Watch it and weep.
I do think this film will be looked back on as a turning point in cinema in years to come, if the trailer is any indication. Ennui has been "experimental" for decades in film, but by all indications, a much underrated and unappreciated vector of our lives has now been thrust into the limelight. It takes a deeply shallow visionary to see what has been right there all along, and to go to town on it.
This is the most boring two minutes and seventeen seconds of trailer that I have ever seen. Superb! Stunning! A new and fulfilled era in cinema production! I'm not sure who the actor is, but the way he blinks his eyes leaves the viewer breathless with pathos. He appears to be Cajun. I wonder will the movie be in theaters, or will it go straight to DVD. And when it IS on DVD, will there be a collector's edition with deleted scenes and a blooper reel? Wow, I hope so!
This is carly!! Lol:)

The clock. It's all about the clock. And the cigarette. Was that a lens flare I saw?
