i got one today for 70 dollars at hobbie lobby. it uses 3aa batteries and uses two led lights. on light shinee from the bottom and the other shine at an angle from the top to see solid objects such as a small rock. its got 40, 100, and 400x optical. its a beginners microscope but its priity neat.
my microscope is strange small thing its called the Die Cast microscope from edu sciance. i just got it out o the loft today ad put new AA batteries in i went to go look inside and all i saw was the lens at the stage i moved this mirror thing at the bottom ad nothing happened and i was right near a sunny window.
