shomen uchi is my favourite technique to apply, & also the one tech I hate being on the end of. Especially if the Tore is very good or its executed acutely @ speed. Its a pretty freaky move when delivered properly. Poor buggers who had to Uke for O Sensei when he was inventing this technique must have been saying "What the F**K".
It is always so nice to see the Doshu in action... However, may I point out that it should say "ShiHonage" and not "Shionage" as this would probably translate as throwing the salt ;)
Very clean demo of shiho nage. The movements are very clear that even a beginner could easily follow.

Shio nage is the super secret atemi only taught to very advanced students for use when attacked at the table. :P
