If you look closely at the side of the road you will see some red strips on the black top. Those are anti drifting groves in the road, they were put there so the cars would loose speed and stop drifting. But whats funny is that the Japanese drifter just increased the horse power of there cars so they could drift over the anti drift pads.

don't assume i don't know what im criticizing. i've seen arab "drifting" as its called, and i think i know what you mean by "flip." but the fact that the car rotates in circles really fast doesn't demonstrate skill. of course the car spins faster it's being driven by the front wheels. REAL drifting is much more difficult and seeing as these aren't even highly modded cars they all display a great deal of skill. obviously you don't know what drifting is if you respect arab (FWD) "drifting"

If you look the arabs are driving a hyundai which is front wheel drive. What they are doing is gaining lots of speed and using the weight of the car to make the rear end slide out... this is hardly drifting. No front wheel drive car would ever correctly be able to drift onmountain roads or a track for that matter. Now im not saying that it doesn't take a bit of skill to not slide into all those people in the arab video... but no it is not really drifting.
