  • Jarrod, by far the most charismatic, handsome and best sounding Frankie Valli, along with the rest of this cast -the best of all the jersey boys.

  • pretty good for modern men

  • Best jersey boys cast!

  • im soooo excited 4 the 2011 one!! im gonna be singing with jordin sparks!!!! yay!!

  • I think I've fallen in love. <333 LOL

  • Deven May.........sigh......Oh what a talent!

  • @dlrhlr1022 i know right!!! when he sings that part, i get goosebumps!!! LOVE HIM!

  • Saw it live w/ Spector. Awesome...

  • i wonder how many years of voice lessons these guys took and then had to learn a totally different way of singing to do this show....their voice teachers must cringe. don't get me wrong, i love jersey boys, but that is not the way most voice teachers would teach!

  • I think of all the ones I've sing in Franki's shoes Jarrod has done the best job, closest to the original, but never as good.

  • i love Deven May!!! HE IS SOOOOOO SEXY!!!

  • <3<3<3 i watch this like everyday.

  • jarrod spector<33333

  • i am from las vegas so i have a HUGE soft spot for deven may :) LOVE him

  • @broadwayangel25 right?? i saw him in Vegas (lucky me! and i've just gone obsessed with him! he should definetly be in a movie

  • he was just nervous..that is why his voice was shaking i mean the president was watching this..i was there and it was amazing!! fourth of july is the best time to visit d.c., it is reallllyyyy busy after the celebration but it is amazing!!!!

  • @Laxetiv I am not sure if you have a music background but you are DEAD WRONG! Jarrod is perfect, he hits the notes, and is an amazing talent. I strongly suggest that you go and see him in the show you will be hook like me and keep going back. I hope Jarrod plays Frankie for years to come

  • @Laxetiv I am not sure if you have a music background but you are DEAD WRONG! Jarrod is perfect, he hits the notes, and is an amazing talent. I strongly suggest that you go and see him in the show you will be hook like me and keep going back.

  • my fave by far!!

  • He was perfect.

  • It's obvious that you have a great affection for Dominic. He is a wonderful talent but has a long way to go to achieve Jarrod's level. This by no means is a negative on Dominic. It would be more appropriate for you to praise Dominic on a video he appears in then to try and promote him on one that he wasn't invited to perform on. As I understand, this performance included actors from different casts around the country and if Dominic had been chosen then he would be in this video.

  • great medley. saw them in CT and Chicago. Still need to see in NY

  • No Way!!! Jarrod is the best Frankie!!! I get the chills every time I watch him :)

  • Will be in Las Vegas this weekend for my THIRD performance. Can't wait!

  • Jarrod is great, but I think that the best Frankie since JLY is Jeff Madden in Toronto, blows me away everytime I see him.

  • I never get tired of these songs!

  • Jarrod sounds amazing. But all four of them are amazing.

  • Bob Gaudio says so himself that Stephen Ashfield is the best version for his part and Glenn Carter is by far the best Tommy. London Cast are great. Jarrod is also amazing.

  • Yes Nerris121, I have to agree, I saw Jersey Boys in NY in May and in London in July and there is no doubt tha Jarrod Spector was born to be Frankie Valli, he could blow all the Frankies around the world out of the water...

  • Forgive me JLY and Rick Faugno... but I think Jarrod has become the ultimate Frankie..

And anyone who says the London cast should be among this "dream cast" needs to get the hell out of here.

  • This video makes me smile so much. I love seeing Michael and Jarrod back together on stage. Jarrod is an amazing Frankie (we've missed him here in Chicago) and Michael brings so much to the role of Nick. I would love to see them on stage together again.

  • Wow, that's a great video -- especially, Jarrod Spector. I love watching him sing! He has such a great stage presence and makes it look so effortless and flawless.

  • just saw the ny version with this cast and they where great

  • I think these guys should be the NYC cast.

  • They are. :P

  • @mikokat Jarrod Spector is, Josh Franklin is from the national tour, Deven May is from vegas and Michael Ingersoll is from either SF or chicago.

  • Ah, okay, thanks. :)

  • Jarrod Spector the best Frankie Valli.

  • Just saw Jersey Boys last week in NYC. Jarrod Spector is absolutely amazing in this awesome play! Loved it!

  • I love Jarrod Spector!

  • i watched this in vegas in june with travis cloer as frankie, erich bergen as bob, deven may as tommy and jeff leibow as nick. It was REALLY GOOD!!

  • Just saw it in Vegas this past weekend. I don't think I could ever see anywhere else. Rick Faugno as Frankie, Deven May as Tommy, Jeff Leibow as Nick, and Drew Gehling as Bob. GREATEST

  • So true...so great seeing Ingersoll and Jarrod again!! Jarrod is one of a kind, Chicago misses him....I seriously can't stop watching this, Jarrod's voice is just incredible, his singing his effortless. All these guys were amazing, such a great video!!

  • So great seeing and hearing Jarrod again. He's amazing. And to see Chicago's Michael Ingersoll with him....well, this is wonderful!

  • Good effort Jarrod. Didn't nail Sherry or Big Girls Don't Cry (too raspy) but Walk Like A Man was great. Can't Take My Eyes Off You was the best rendition I have hear since Frankie. If you want to hear a great cast, check out the Australian cast on You Tube (Dancing with the Stars rendition).

  • Nice video, I will have to check out this band, been a very long time since I have heard their music.

  • i could NEVER get enough of this video:)

  • Same here.....I must have watched it a thousand times. Love it!

  • love love love jarrod but go michael ingersoll on what a night.... great.

  • I saw Jarrod Spector and Michael Ingersoll in Chicago they were really really good i want to go see them again

  • Actually I don't need to..... Ask John Lloyd Young and some of the regular bloggers on Jersey Boys Blog who I am as a Jersey Boys fan and he'll vouch for me..... Watched Jarrod, Chris Jones, John Michael Dias mostly with the 1st and 2nd Nat'l Tours in SF, but have supported the OBC as well! (Mike from SF)

  • After watching the show 35 times in SF, LV, Chicago & NYC, I love these TV specials, especially this one with the principals from all US casts!

  • ....show me pictures of all 35 tickets and then i'll believe this.

  • OMG I love JErsey boys I have seen it 6 times if i could i would see it that many times! your lucky!

  • Basically since they had a long run in SF, plus having seen the Broadway cast quite a bit on business, also knowing principal and supporting cast members helps with requests for backstage tours in SF and at the August Wilson Theatre.

  • wow...you are too cool

  • not cool, but just fortunate to have Jersey Boys perform in SF for a long period of time, as well as being lucky to have watched them in other cities with a group of other Jersey Boys fans.

  • youve met jarrod spector??!

  • I love this show! I want to see it again.

I saw Deven May in Vegas and he was excellent as well as the whole cast.

  • This is like my 50th time watching this in the passed 2 weeks. :-P

  • same here!! =) jarrod is sooo amazing. i saw him in chicago and was blown away. i wanna see him on broadway!!

  • Just saw Devan May in Vegas and he's still the best DeVito around!

  • I love it!

  • Deven May is great! Saw him in Vegas and loved him here too!

  • If you want to see short clips of Graham Fenton singing, search here on You Tube for "Nicole and Graham." There are 2 videos of him singing at his wedding! I found these on a Jersey Boys discussion forum. I've been trying to find videos of him on YT singing in Jersey Boys, but haven't been able to find any yet. Somebody please sneak in a camera!! I saw him in Nashville and he was awesome.

  • I just love...love it!

Sorry for posting a third comment!! It was great to be...a few yards away from Jarrod <3 <3

    Sorry....I think he's...'cool'. :-)

I'm seeing the broadway show soon..and guess who's in it.....JARROD SPECTOR!!!!

  • I LOVE JARROD!!!!!

  • I saw Josh Franklin today in Boston, and he was fantastic as Bob Gaudio.

Graham Fenton was playing Frankie. I am surprised there isn't much on the web about him since I thought he was fantastic and quite perfect for the role.

  • was that the National Tour cast? i am definitely seeing it when they come to DC and am glad to hear you say their Frankie was good.

does anyone know how Joseph Leo Bwarie is though? cause i know that Graham Fenton's supposed to be the understudy.

  • nope, this is a combination of actors from different casts

  • Josh Franklin is the only one on the National Tour. He plays Bob Gaudio, and he is a fantastic performer and vocalist.

Graham Fenton is not really the understudy because the Playbill listed all of the shows he would be in during the show's run in Boston. Him and Joseph share the role, but Joseph performs in the majority of the shows each week. If Graham performs at the show you attend, you will definitely not be disappointed since he is much better than most of the Frankies on YouTube.

  • Steve Gouveia and Matt Bailey are the other 2 principal members of the national tour, and they are both phenomenal performers as well. If you really want to hear Joseph's voice, Search for the "Jersey Boys" clip from this year's Tony Awards. The show has been selling out nearly every night in Boston since just everything about it is amazing :)

  • Graham Fenton is the alternate.

  • Joseph Leo Bwarie is a total dreamboat and fantastic as Frankie! I have seen him twice as Frankie and will be seeing him in D.C., Memphis and Charlotte.

  • Here's my dream cast:

    Jarrod Spector

    Vegas DeVito

    Original Broadway Massi

    London Gaudio

  • It's your dream cast, but you only know the names of 1 out of 4 Seasons? ;)

  • so i can't remember the names of every cast... sue me... I've still seen them all. ;-)

  • I remember hearing this at the show. Me and my family were camping at the steps of the capitol near the top. In fact, me and my brother waited for over 5 hours just to see it, and we had to save that spot for our parents. Believe it or not.

  • Great performance. However, I don't like how much they sped up all the songs. Even Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You. The Jersey Boys versions are already sped up from the original Four Seasons track and this was just too fast. The whole thing felt rushed, felt chipmunk-ish...

  • Well in the reality of it, people nowadays don't really like the slower versions of the songs.

  • you're right. The original versions almost seem tedious in their slowness. On the other hand the Vegas show rushes them like you can't believe

  • they aren't tedious... it's just that's how music was back then nearly 50 years ago. Nowadays, people are into fast moving music, etc.

  • Josh Frankliin is HOT!! If you see him live, you'll see why. He's awesome as Bob Gaudio -- his voice is incredible!! And if you meet him afterwards, you'll see he's a great guy!! Go see the National Tour!

  • I thought on the first song Jarrod's voice sounded nervous or something. But outdoor sound quality is probably not as good as a theater.

BTW, I saw Josh Franklin live in two different shows and it didn't sound like his voice was dubbed by someone else here. To me, he sounded just like it did during the regular show.

  • Absolutely LOVE the Jersey Boys! It's the best musical!

Jarrod Spector does a great job as Frankie Valli!

  • Great! Not enough face time for Deven... I have seen him in Vegas as Tommy 4 times, Deven rocks!!!!

  • You beat me by one!!!

  • I got tickets for 2 nites in September. Are you a Deven fan also?

  • He's still in Vegas right? Yes, he's my favorite. He has the accent down perfect and is hilarious!

  • I actually came to this show!! The weather was great! I had a great time.

  • can anyone tell me the names of the songs in the video

  • first to last song in order

Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, and December 63, (Oh, What a Night)

  • Apparently, the "Boys" are doubled vocally (on an off-stage mic) by "Jersey" alums Christopher Kale Jones (Frankie), Drew Gehling (Bob), Douglas Crawford (Tommy), and Nathan Klau (Nick). Sounded great. I thought they might be using pre-recorded tracks, but, I'm told, it was all live. Fantastic performance and congratulations to all.

  • Wow! This was great and different!

Not too fond of Josh as Bob, but the Tommy was great... and I really don't think I need to mention Jarrod's great performance...

    XD

  • So this is kinda like the "Dream Cast" like how they chose for Les Mis?

    CMON STUPID VIDEO!!! LOAD!!!

  • No, that was the whole show. This was a medley.

  • i LOVE how everyone was enjoying this performance there singing along or either dancing along so was the orchestration....i LOVE it when Jersey Boys does a performance...Jarrod<3

  • haha i was there..it was amazing!!

  • Haven't seen Deven perform since he left the Sherry cast in SF! SO GOOD to see him do this again!!!

    Thanks for posting :)

  • This really was a great performance. was glad to see they had on different suits - that really fit. Jarrod was Jarrod - the true performer. Michael sounded especially good.

  • Jarrod is great! He just like the real thing! I wonder how he gets his voice that high

  • lets just say lots of practice!

  • The one sounds so much like Valli

  • thanks a lot. i enjoyed this a lot myself....

  • what a FANTASTIC performace, Jarrod is an incredible Frankie Valli and so was John Lloyd Young such amazing performers they are.....xD

  • Thank goodness for that.

  • its "Franki" and Jarrod is AMAZING!!!!!

  • Jarrod is the only one that sounds like Frankie. Sorry to all you JLY fans.

  • This was spectacular.

  • They are great! It is so beautiful with the capitol in the backround.

  • Looooooovvvee it! Wooo Deven!

  • crazy fucking high F at the end from the tenor 1.
