  • If i run cyrsis in crossfire 5850s will it run better? or is it badly optimized.

  • @BR4NDONcec 5850s should scale good in this game.

  • i wish there were some draggens !!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaarch 1!!!

  • processor makes up for your low ram

  • My 240 GT and my Acer 18.4 inch Laptop plays it at a higher rez and smooth as pie on my 60 inch TV.?? I am shocked your doesn't?

Oh I took shadows off but everything very high or full as they say.

  • @Dorisequador u r full of shit

  • @nic95 Not any more I just took a shit and I flushed you away.

EH ya my Laptop runs it smooth as pie on my 60 inch TV Everything full graphics except shadows off.

  • @Dorisequador What chip are you using?

  • @nic95 Centrino dual CPU GT240 1 Gig DDR3 and it runs great it had a HDMI OUT to the T.V and it's incredable HD gaming I guess they set it up like and XBox. Because my games fly no matter what I put on it But I think my Graphic card is part of the Motherboard making it alot fasted because of diract connection not threw a port which makes it alot slower if it used a port.

  • @Dorisequador Dude, the gt 240 is already kind of weak. The mobile version of it is even weaker. The standard gt 240 card is about 2/3 the power of my gts 250 and I get like 30 fps on all high (shadows on medium), and that's with a 21 inch monitor. So I highly doubt your GT240m is running it "smoothly" on a 60 inch on very high, even with shadows turned off. Unless your definition of smooth is 20 fps.

  • @nic95 No there are many different versions of the GT240.

Acer used a GT version not the weaker 240M.

It's and actually high clocked 240GT that runs as good as the 260GT because it's directly on the board and that gives a huge advantage and a much more powerful gameplay.

Plus it's got a HDMI out to my 60 inch screen and runs extreamly smooth in any game.

In Crysis warhead I am getting 40 frames which is exellent and at HDMi settings!

    I am very pleased.

  • @Dorisequador Bottom line is, the gts 250 should be faster than the gt 240. Especially since I OC'd it.

  • @nic95 Tahts true but by how much and how much did you o'c it? is it the same o'c as the 240GT the difference will be very small. 5 to 12 frames or so?

  • Comment removed

  • @Dorisequador I'll just list the specs since it's easier.

    Athlon II x2 3.4 ghz

GTS 250 (oc'd from 675mhz core clock to 730 mhz)

    12 gb corsair DDR3

My main monitor for gaming is 1600x900, I use my other monitor for web browsing and anything else which is 1680x1050

  • @nic95 Not bad man very good setup ever think about buying a 580 GTX ?Or a 560GTX 900Hmz Oc'ed?

  • @Dorisequador well the 580 is way too expensive for my liking, and a little overkill for what I play. I could probably settle for a gtx 460 since its a good card for dx 11 and relatively cheap considering what it used to cost.

  • @nic95 I recommend the 560 GTX O'c 900Mhz due to it has a 35 frames over the 460GTX and it's priced cheaper.

  • Wow, this game still looks better than all current FPS games.

  • not even HD

  • geting this on ps3 ;)

  • @emanuel1915 Fyi it wont look half as good or it wont have half of the amazing weapons. Just to let you know.

  • i have i7 920 and 5850. At 1080p with everything very high without AA i play with 30-40 fps the most of time. When there is a lot of action frame rate drops at 24-25 fps, other times goes 40+. In general the game with 5850 and a good CPU is without doubt playable at 1080p.

  • Seems laggy, are you sure this is the 5850? On such a low resolution it should be smooth as butter.

  • Sucks what the fuck are using oh radeon sucks dude

  • @halofreak1398 If you are going to hate on a decent card, at least show you have the intellectual capacity to do so effectively by using proper grammar.

  • fps ?

  • Comment removed

  • @kruiser6666 it is in the description (35-40 without Fraps, 25 with it.)

  • i will make a video that will end conspirancy i will play crysis whit female suit voice

  • @DarkSoldier1998 it would lag you dumbass.

DAMN you really are just 13 yrs old!!! jeez

  • @gabrocki HEY HEY, why do people just ASSUME people are 13, just cause they something stupid. I am 13 and have built a computer, won many times on iracing. (I.e stuff that "older people" do, so please help me stop this 13 yr old stereotype.

  • @ronaldinho4eva1 uhh because he has 1998 in his name????? thats why i was ASSUMING? dear good sir?

  • @ronaldinho4eva1 when you group up you realize what its all about

  • but.... wil it run minecraft well?

  • is 2GB AMD RADEON 6950 CROSSFIRE better than this

  • @TheiTouchGuys are you from planet earth ?

  • @seantal007 no

  • @TheiTouchGuys lol :D

  • @TheiTouchGuys Are u retarded?

  • @xREECEo i know now before i didnt lol

  • @TheiTouchGuys Are u high?

  • @TheiTouchGuys 2ice. Is as fast as a 6990.

  • also a cpu is only as fast as its slowest part... and ddr2 is faster than ddr3 when averaging speed and response time so why are we even having this conversation about ram anyway lol??? anywho if his ram was the slowest part on his build it still wouldnt bottleneck because the 5850 is doing most of the heavy lifting and its a damn good card better than alot of the 6000 series cards... also.... I like zebra tacos with 4loko

  • @mennogamer559 at the res he is set to... idont see it happening the 5850 at that res on crysis would handle crysis just fine perhaps its your FSB thats causing issues for you but with the 5850 base model having 1gb gddr5 theres not a lot of operations going back and forth that need any real cpu or mem from the sys, i play crysis with my cpu monitor open on my 2nd monitor and see very low increase in utilization... also eve sys is diff anyway, he lest alot of details on his build out

  • ok so ima show you guys are all wrong about the DDR2 bottle necking im on a Phenom 2 x4 1090t non oc and 5850 xtreme oc 1175 mem and 775 core im about to go record this with fraps on 8xaa with no dropped frames brb and BFBC3 will be a much lighter load on the card than crysis even tho it was made way back in 07 its alot more going on in crysis than there will be in bfbc3

  • @EPICEPICWIN Exactly, crysis was made to be immensly powerful, crysis 2 isn't as powerful, so the fact that velazkid can play crysis on near high settings with the 5850, Letsplay could play battleield on high settings, good way to put it EPICEPICWIN

  • @EPICEPICWIN its bullshit that is a bottelneck i paly every thing with a e8500 and ddr2 ram

  • Will i be able to max this game out (1920x1080 4xaa)

    Specs:

    6970 2GB XXX edition (overclocked)

    Q6600@3,4 GHZ

    6GB DDR2 1066 mhz

    Please reply

  • @marijn123gunner That's more then enough to run this game. But you might want to go for DDR3 memory instead.

  • @chris4268

I have Coirsare high performance XMS2 memory

Do you think it is enough?

  • Could you run with this Graphiccard Battlefield 3 on high settings?

  • @LetsPlayTV95 Well, since the game hasn't been released yet there is no definite answer but I think it could run medium to high settings with a good processor and at least 4gb of ddr3 ram.

  • @LetsPlayTV95 Are you really that dumb? Battlefield 3 isn't even out until the END of this year.... there will probably be another bad ass card from ati or nvidia by then... So nobody has any fucking clue if this card will run bf 3 on high.....

  • @oddieboi and are you really that dumb, video cards may go out of date fast, but they dont go out of use. meaning that this video card, the 5850, will probably handle battlefield 3 perfectly fine even on high settings, the 5770 may even handle the game, but maybe not on high

  • Your ram and processor is good enough to run crysis but the ram is definitely bottlenecking when working with your gpu unless your gpu is damaged, cuz i have Phenom x4 955 BE @ 3.21 GHZ, 2gb ddr3 1333, and a 5850 and i get solid 40 fps with max settings, 8xAA and 1600x900 resoultion.

  • OMG ith a high end card so make ultra high hahaha. 25fps or slower how i can see.

  • My 240GT on my Acer Laptop makes this game fly ...1680 x 965 full except for shadows off... it's incredably smooth and fast even in vast graphic sitiations incredably smooth. I'm only running a Cantrino dual core 2.2 x 2 Mhz CPU 18.4 inch screen.

  • do you think that " cooler master gx 550w" can support the 5850 with energy

  • Why such a low resolution? I play on 1920x1080 with the same card but better comp specs and get 30-35fps

  • I'm about to get this card, along with a AMD 1100 ( Phenom II 6 Core 3.3 (3.7) 8 Gigs of ram and 1 TB HDD) I'm pretty sure, I'll never have to buy stuff until the world blows up. Or at least, until IT blows the world up... :S

  • i don't know how you guys set such big resolution and aa i think 1024x800 is very good with or no aa

  • do you think it will work well on a hd 5830

    intel core 2 quad q8400 @2,66ghz

    4gb ram ddr2 ???

  • @TheNinj47 i would suggest getting more RAM, because explorer uses 1 gb and youll use 1.5 gb running this game. i suggest getting 6 or more RAM

  • @MJ4everTheKing thx but i changed my built completly and ive already bought some parts:

sapphire ati radeon hd 5850 toxic

    amd phenom II X6 1050T

and 4gb ram ddr3 maybe i will buy more ram in a few weeks

  • @TheNinj47

I used to think quad's were good.

That's until I realized Hexacore CPU's are out there. Boy was I mistaken.

  • no talent :( what're you doing, aiming with your feet?

  • im holding my girlfriends tits there huge

  • @dennisHxC he is ok dude! the Dual core E8500 is better than some quad cores! example the Q9300 and Q9400 :)

  • @dennisHxC i doubt that is a bottleneck

  • @dennisHxC Here are my system specifications. but i'm using ATI RADEON HD 5870 1 GB.

    Q9550 running at 2.883 GHZ

    4 GB of DDR2 Memory 800 MHZ

    Motherboard Gigabyte P965 DS4.

There are people who say that my system is above the average. but i want to be sure if i have to overclock my CPU to make 5870 utilize to it's fullest.

  • @george3dmax nah u good. q9550 is a pretty monster CPU itself.

  • Oh man, for that video has already made to realize that I not only have to improve the video card but the processor (I'm the same as yours).

  • i have a ATI Radeon 5770 :D

  • does a 6gb ddr3, intel i7 quad core processor and ati radeon hd 5850 run well?

  • @51blue1

5850 runs well with only an i5 and 4GB DDR3.

At this point expensive stuff is mostly just for future-proofing and trying to fuck Crysis as hard as possible.

  • @51blue1 absolutely..infact u don even need 6GBs.

  • @51blue1

Yeh, you're good to go. with a processor like that and between 6-12gb ddr3, you're in the clear. Now for the advance ati's like the 6800 series, now that's in the 8-12 gb ddr3 zone.

  • you say you have that on medium because dosent make much diff? look at the shadows when you go into the dense forest, it looks terrible

  • whats better the 5850? or the 5870

  • @versionintegrale go for the 6970 or the GTX 580 screw those old cards :)

  • @versionintegrale

both are good. there's really now difference in them.

  • Asshole "Die you American pig!"

    You *shotgun to the gut*

    America wins again... :D

  • Eh. I'd rather hold it at High settings so I still get decent frames during huge firefights. Plus I'd rather not risk blowing my power supply.

  • That was my favorite place on crysis

  • single core?

  • I hope the PS3 and XBOX can run Crysis 2 at a nice framerate. If not, I am sticking to my PC

  • record tyour screen with a camera and with fraps on (not recording) so we can see how smooth it really is

  • is the game made 2 be in 40.35 fps

or its need super pc to show 60.fps

  • Is the Intel Quad Core i5 760 similar to your E8500?

  • and how come i saw another video with:

    Crysis Very High 8xAA - XFX ATI 5850 1gb

    32+ fps!

  • @tom1161 Hes probably running a 5850 1 GB on a very uber system. so some of massive bottleneck is removed. remember theres always a bottleneck. the uber your system is, the more bottleneck is removed from gpu.

  • if i had this i would:

    - turn off AA (i see so little difference)

    - turn shaders and or shadows to high (i see little difference)

    - turn up the resolution to 1080p (optional)

Probably similar or better fps :3

  • @dennisHxC Yeah, you must have like at least core 2 quad q9300 processor and 4 GB DDR3 1066 MHz to gain real performance from this card

  • why are you running this whit Resoltion at 1440x900??

  • @XDLOL211 whats wrong with that i got the same card running it on 19inch 1400x900 more FPS FTW....

  • haha you should get higher fps cause in that link its crysis warhead and its higher resolution

  • lol the fps u get when using fraps is my real ingame fps with a 4850

  • WHY IS THIS FUCKEN GAME SO GOD DAMN REALISTIC!!! IM GETTING GTX 480 SOON!!!! YAY!!!

  • hahh i rape this game :D

and not with a fps of 20 ^^

  • got same rig but with gtx 470 itsw mroe like 8 fps in heavy shit and 20 normal with action scenes

    unplayable til 25 fps

  • you ram has a bottelneck try ddr2 800

  • I just ordered this card. I kinda expected more... But what the hell, planing on getting two of these when I have the money anyway! But what your saying is, that when your not recording with fraps this will run smoothly on a 5850? (I have a 3.2ghz quadcore processor and 4GB or RAM so that is no problem)

  • Also, Crysis is a lot more GPU dependent than CPU, it use almost none of the CPU anyways.

  • laggy :/

  • i gotta 650 watt power would i be safe?

  • @dennisHxC ur right that card is genius :P

  • Jeez, you nade noob XD

  • low resolution. low as shit try 1920 x1200

  • your rig should be running it bettter than this on medium man. Try getting rid of AA, it DOESNT make that much of a big deal at high res with Crysis.

  • chuck it on DX9 your fps will go up to like 60 and it doesnt look much different to that accept the lighting.

  • wow nice performance....

    i have 25-35 fps and i have E5200 @2x3.0ghz 4gb ram ddr2 and GTS250 oO i play on very high 1440x900 2xAA oO

  • play it on DX9, looks practically the same and you get about 40-75 fps. Way better performance than DX10. DX10 is barely worth the FPS hit.Crysis is so much more fun to play on DX9.

  • my ATI Radeon HD 5870 is better lol

  • deactivate AA and use this "r_useedgeaa=2".. looks better and the difference between this software AA and the real aa is freaking huge! crysis normal AA is bad.. because it didn't works on vegetation and crysis is a jungle game.. means 80% of all objects ARE vegetatoin.. this needs TSAA which crysis didn't use ;) so if you use AA then supersampling (looks sooo beautiful but nees alot of power) and if not use "r_useedgeaa=2" trust me.. your fps will explode on this res with that card without AA!!

  • something is wrong con phenom 1 x3 and 9800gtx i get more fps in 1080p no AA max setings...

  • @gainax2 in low? lol

  • @Georgefromaccounting No Problem!

  • @Georgefromaccounting Maybe Just a little bit but not very much at all. its not woth spending a ton of extra money on a better prossesor. Take my word for it because i have this card along with 3gb ddr2 816 and the athon ii x2 245 @3.55 GHz and all of my games run amazingly well!

  • thanks now i know not to get this crappy card

  • turn off anti alias and turn up the reoslution

  • is this 650 tx or 650 hx?

  • yeah fraps is kinda lame, doesnt really show the true performance of your video card, knocks the framerate down pretty bad, im gonna record the performance of my computer with an hd camera, may not look as good as a fraps recording, but will show the true fps

  • @MetalPower86 or buy a capture card?

  • YO HAILSTONEHSS ya you should definetely get the 5850 instead of 4770. They actually dont even compare. I myself have a 5850 and its great. Its more than double the 4770. If you want to play games in general, than get a 5850 or at least 5750, depending on how much space you have in your case.

  • you're only on 1440x900

    at least get to 1650x1080

  • lol at 360 p it look like 720p and at 720 p it looks like....

  • why all PC test ares on crysis, this is not the game who need the most performance

the game who need the most performance is FSX with addon (REX, PMDG 747, and heathrow scenery by aerosoft) in Hight setting, then you will get 2 FPS with an I7 940, if you dont get windows error ....

  • .. lmao.. dual core running a high end GPU .. what drugs were you on?

  • ok will this card bottleneck my q9300 @ 2.5 ghz and a 1400x900 resolution? ive heard that any resolution under 1680 x 1050 will make this card..not work well. or at least not as well as it can work.

  • VERY GOOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very Nice is this work on Nvidea Geforce 8400 gs?

  • How much more FPS will you gain if you turn off the AA? I really need to know; since I'm about to but this Graphics card. Thank you

  • @mathias921 a whole lot. on my card i get like 20 fps with 4x aa and i get around 30 or so without it.

  • @jcat44444 Thanks; just another question. In your opinion; should I get this graphics card? Thank you

  • i recommed you upgrade your memory tot ddr 2 1066 the core 2 duo e8500 was not a bottelneck its a good cpu an workd perfect on a gtx 280 the hd 5850 have a low bandboard and was faster than the gtx 280

  • If you want xtra fps turn down post processing

  • hmm..crysis all very high x4aa @1440 x 900....sounds about right..I also get around 35-40 with those settings...hd5850

  • dude, sweet!! what kind of processor are you using?

  • You have the same case as me. :)

  • Fake not raedon hd 5850

  • You actually should be getting better performance, man. I get about 32+ with FRAPS at 1680x1050 with all settings on very high.

  • lol dude, its not 30fps lmao. idk what you wana prove. i guess uare getting around 20

  • That doesn't really look like 30-40 FPS. Looks more like 15-20 something.

  • @antripod123 read the description, with fraps i get a solid 25 FPS. without it on, I get 35-40. Sorry if the the annotation bubble confused you.

  • @velazkid

Why not record it in like 100 FPS, then we can see the real FPS... or it's not possible ?

  • @EngrainedPhilosopher Because if he sets fps to record @ 100fps and he has less than that... Then Fraps speeds up the video.... same shit happened to me

  • @dbosnic

Well then, I've seen a video when a recorded gameplay was smooth and not capped at ~25 FPS. I asked him, how he did that... no answer so far.

  • @antripod123 lol you're an idiot. read.

  • how much this need power? i have 500 watts.

  • @kakka626 If you get this, your going to be cutting it close. The minimum requirement is 500 watts. I would upgrade.

  • @velazkid what happens if it is 450 watts?

  • @kakka626 You risk the card running out of power ofcourse, which will most likely just shut off the PC whenever it happens.

  • @velazkid ohh,i think im not gonna buy this, what about hd5770? do u know anything about it? is it good? and how much it need power

  • @velazkid Im going to try on mine at 475 watts

lol il try il record what will happen but i dont think anything will happen

  • @velazkid Need opinion pls...

    Target specs..

    Athlon II x4 2.8 ghz

    Saphire hd5870

    4gig geil ddr2

    Gigabyte superb 550

im keeping my old board.. gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H

any comments.. well appreciated... PS for "Gaming Extreme" if possible...

  • @starfish30 thats 5850 sorry....

  • @velazkid would i see a major performance improvemen if i buy this, i have a pentium dual core e2220 2.4 GHz clocked at 2.80 GHz. when i ocd it i saw a good 10 fps jump. now i cant imagine how much this would improve, my curent cpu has 1 mb l2 cache, this has 6 i think. and this is clocked higher in stocked speeds, should be faster right>?? i will overclock it just one more question, what type of cooler u have? i want this to last me one year at least, then i will upgrade. is it worthy"?

  • @kakka626 Also you'll notice if your system isn't getting enouh power consumption because the performance will decrease a lot.

  • @velazkid 2 5850s can be run on a quality 550.

  • @velazkid lol you do not need no 500 watt psu , i had a 5850 oc'ed, phenom II at 3.8Ghz, 4 gbs of ram, 6 fans, 3 hdds, 2 drives, all off of 1 corsair 430w :P

  • @velazkid

550w good enough for this card?

    Coolermaster powerplus 550w btw

  • @kakka626 i suggest a 750w

  • please, im getting this card monday. i want to know what FPS i can run crysis at very high, or enthusiast for warhead. i really want to get stable 30 fps at 1680x 1050. i guess antialiasing is needed to get rd of the jagged edges, so how much AA would i need? also, im getting the cheapest one, VTX3D ATI RADEON HD 5850. answers poste haste would be greatly appreciated, i have phenom 2 x4 3.0ghz and 3gb 800mhz ram

  • @AshkenaziKilla Should be fine for 30fps, make sure to put Vsync on however, Frame rate spikes are experience killers and vsync smooths out those jutters. With my resolution i get about 35 fps, you have a higher res than me but a better CPU than me. your results shouldn't be much different. I'd use 4xAA, but you made it sound like it's a necessity. With it off, it's not like "omg that rock looks like a square" it's just not as perfect. Many ppl dont even notice it.

  • @velazkid

    thanks man
