  • Why not just set them all over one brood box? Would that be less risky for spreading disease? I can see where this is a risk.

  • Why do you're honey supers have holes drilled in them? as I am new to beekeeping I am interested in the "tricks" of the trade. Thanks for the vids!

  • Without wishing to cause a riot, this practice is illegal in Victoria, Australia, it is regarded as too efficient a means of spreading bee diseases

  • Just how much do you think the bees end up cleaning? Would you say they get 50% of the left over honey from the sides? Seems like a good way of cleaning and giving some prep to the bees pre-winter.

  • Believe it or not, hey get every molecule in a day or so. Bone dry!

    Just dont put the supers too close to the hives because they may start to rob each others hives.
