Great stuff, I am so thankful to find it here. When I heard these songs the first time, the wall in Eastern Germany was just down and a never known freedom came into our land. I was 19 years old, and how happy I was when I got my first English worship tape!!! Times have changed but I will never forget these first worship songs, which were sounding in my own dark world and which gave me hope, light and strength, whenever I was listening to it. Im from El Salvador and someone lent me a copy of this tape in 1989. Some of the Hosanna Music songs were translated into Spanish and sang among the Latin American churches. They changed thoundsans of lives including myself. Today while listening to this posting I remembered when I started learning about praise and worship principles. Then along came Ron Kenoly and Alvin Slaughter making war in the heavenlies.God bless the people from Integrity and Hosanna! Music.

is just sad to see how the body of Christ soon forgets this great songs. now when i go to my chruch praise and worship team only sing about happiness and they all sing but they are ready forget the coming of christ songs. nothing about trials, just sex, prosperity.

@avelon29 You make an a very astute point. It IS sad that the Christian body is becoming more about "me", not "how may I serve?" Jesus did not promote that prosperity, and wealth and success is a sign of righteousness as many churches do these days. How Jesus lived his ministry here is an example of how the body of Christ should be conducting themselves in HIS affairs not by their agenda.

Kent Henry is a pastor in Crestwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. He is a very kind man (I have met him) and a friend of Charlie & Jill LeBlanc, another great worship team. These sons are what we used in the 1980s to worship the Lord. I miss these songs. You hardly ever hear them.
