The Arya natives of the Sindhu valley (also hind-desh) were called as "Hind people". There even exists the "Hindkush" mountain range (just google it!!) Beyond that were 'Assuras' - From Iraq to Assyria. These Assuras worshiped the Shankara stone, which today they still do in Mecca and they identify their religion with the moon like the one found on Shiva himself. Google: Assur!

The word Punjab is also derived from Persian panch and aab (five waters).
Does it make any sense for Indians who are never tired of talking
