Considering how almost no post production effort was needed, beyond adding the music, its not too bad, especially since I had never done something like it before, and it was done with VHS camcorders, not the most easiest thing to edit with.

Probably not. Again, this is a 3rd Generation recording after post production, put on to cheap VHS tapes gotten from a surplus store back in the mid 90's. This is the way its going to be, and there's no other in existance. Enjoy it.

He. Thats just the nature of VHS tapes. They degrade over time. Its worse when you have one or two generation in post-production and visual quality goes down significantly.

Maine in the Autumn is so nice. We usually take a ride during peak foliage through Phillips, Rangeley and then down Height of the Land into Byron. Then we cut across Coos Canyon and make our way along the dirt road to Weld and then on to Wilton! Nice Work on your Video.

Thank you for the complement. That certainly is a recomended route for fall foliage (having spent some time out that way). I wish I had the equipment to make more of these type of videos. California has its own types of beauty, although not as colorful as New England. Its pretty uniformly brown these days. 8)

Yes, I would definitely put this video into the Environmental Video category. Nice kitty cat at around 1:30. All in all, a very nice visit with the beautiful Maine countryside. The stone wall at 7:24 brought to mind Frost's poem, "Mending Wall." "Something there is that doesn't love a wall..."
