it would have been the coolest/best american rock album ever in the history of the universe

as is, the Side 2 sequence is the best side of post-Beach Boys rock ever released. it has EVERYTHING. great pop hooks/tunes (teengenerate, cars/girls), killer 70's rock guitar/leads and riffs (Two Tub Man courtesy The Bomber/James Gang), amazingly awesome punked-out lead vocals/lyrics...

they were indeed basketball-playing NYC jocks making fun of everything that made Adny snicker. the brilliance is amazing, the genious is astounding. the "toolbag" ness depends on what day and who what when and where. i will repeat, when idiot Mark the Animal /twisted sister fag was in the band, they had some TALL basketball-playing motherfuckers in the band.
