  • i love it.

  • This is really funny! Well done! :)

  • That video was awesome! Good job Ryan!

  • HEY THAT IS AT TU!! I am in lottie jane as we speak..... Ooohh.. I AM TU shirt!! =)

  • This is great!:)

  • Good, fun shooting style (I love seeing the camera shadow on the shoulder [smile]). It really gives it a whimsical feel.

The songs were hilarious, but the rest of the audio was weak.

You could have cut the shot of him in bed to keep the opening moving a bit more, and the end started to drag.

And I, for one, didn't get the ending. Reading the comments makes me appreciate the subtlety of the message, but I wish I had "gotten" the idea from the piece: We start out liking evil.

    Good job. -Luke

  • Yes, that's exactly it. We DO start out liking evil. Why would we sin if we didn't think it would be fun at first and we didn't get at least some enjoyment out of it?

We ran out of time to redub all the scenes since it was a 24 hour film fest, so we chose to do the ones with wind noise first.

But we are planning to finish redubbing, especially especially the office scene. Subscribe to this channel and you can see it when we post it!

  • Running out of time. I hear ya there!

Let me know if I can ever do anything for you. I'm here to help! -Luke

  • Ryan, you are so talented. Keep it going.

  • HOW DID YOU DO THE CAR SCENE?! Great video.

  • The car scene was actually two takes that we composited together in After Effects. In one take, we had the man and the Soundtrack man (SM), and in the second take we had the man and the car.

We then took about 30-40 minutes of our precious 24 hours to rotoscope SM in the first take (which means we cut him out frame by frame for about 24 frames). We then blended the two takes together, leaving cut-out SM in the shot. (We also added some shadows on SM from the car to to make it more integrated).

  • Thanks for replying. I wondered if you might have done two takes. It was seamlessly done. Great job!

  • Hahaha, awesome, my favorite of all the entries.

  • Awsome guy's i'm a guitar, music, and soundtrack freak so that was right up my allie. keep up the good work!

  • what a clever idea....fun to watch!

  • I'm so impressed with this film clip and will we waiting to see what zanyness (I believe I just created a new word form) you come up with next!

I especially love "Man's" black eye. It reminds me of one I incurred while raising him. Never a dull moment!

Keep up the good work, Ryan. I've sent our youth pastor this clip and told him a little bit about Daros Films.

  • That guy getting followed by the soundtrack man is my brother! Haha, SHINANIGANS!

I thought this was great, you guys are doing so well with your videos, I'm already seeing a lot of progress.

Favorite part is when Jason's cowering in the corner from the Soundtrack man. Good job you guys, keep up the great work (I totally wanna get in on one of your videos Ryan)

  • I can't stop laughing, the lyrics and reactions are killer. One thing's for sure, I don't want a soundtrack of my life, but I would watch a soundtrack of yours all day.

  • GREAT job!! Man, Ryan you are creative in multidimensional ways. :)

  • I exist in multiple dimensions? Cool! ;) And thanks :)

  • very good!! I enjoyed it! I didn't get the message until the end, but it makes sense! good parable!

  • Dare we divulge the (very) subtle Christian allegory?

    Soundtrack Man = Sin:

Sin sounds fun at first and makes you happy for a while, but in the end, it will destroy your life and drive you mad.

No matter how hard you try, you can't get rid of sin by yourself. Jesus, represented by the white car at the end, has to take it away for you!

  • nice vid. babe:) much love:) you looked like a great boss:)

  • Why, thank you!

  • Definitely one of my faves from the 24 hr. competition. Nice work!

  • SHANANIGANS!!!

  • I enjoyed how far you took this concept. Very funny!

  • Thanks! We really liked your entry too. Very beautifully shot! We had a few ideas lined up, but once we saw that one of the security elements was a guitar, we kind of ran with it. :)

  • I like the part where the closing title card is in TRAJAN!

  • Well, Soundtrack Man only had one day... but it was an epic day... so he probably deserved a little Trajan... ;)

  • ...I liked the part when security came to see what we were doing running through an office with a camera and guitar. ;) Good times! Also, I'm a little partial to this video... being the guitar player and all... :)

  • Good job man! Enjoyed it! :)

  • Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

  • hahahaha Wow You guys. That's hilarious!

  • Thanks! We had a lot of fun making it!
