I was there... when we saw what was going down and they announced the omegathon was rock band, it was electric. It was crazy, and probably the loudest I've screamed in my life. Also, Robert Khoo is amazing at drums.
I wasn't there, but if were to guess. I would say Tycho is on guitar and Gabe is on bass. The latest guitar hero comic would suggest that Tycho is better at those types of games than Gabe so I would have thought they would have had him play the more difficult instrument, although he does fail near the end of the solo. Can someone who was there confirm this?

Tycho and Gabe are on Guitar and Bass, not sure which was on which. The lead singer is Kara, and Robert Khoo is playing the drums.
