  • hey guyz!!! is there a possibility that my string will break when i tune my 6th string from C# to F#(low)?? coz i dont want that to happen. Pls help and reply soon.

  • @sarvesh0303 if u have a 52 gauge on top string or higher then it wont break!!!

  • it isnt actually that hard, u r pretty good

  • infact can some just quickly tab out the verse it's the only thing i have a problem with :S

  • tab would just help alittle bit for us beginner that arent quite used to learning by ear yet

  • The tuning really is F# F# B E. Wes uses his standard tuning (B F# B E G# C#) on his 4-string guitars (he got more than one), so he tunes it to B F# B E and then he´s tuning the first string to F# (it´s one octave lower than the second string, so he uses a 0.65 bass string as his first string). He´s using his guitar for a Tapping/Slapping Mix. You can hear his 4-string on songs "Nookie", "Full Nelson", "The One", and "Stalemate.

  • the tuning of the four string guitar is F# (low) F# B E...you can easily tune your C# string to F#...it will sound a little different, but the tabs wil be right

  • HEY wes you are the reason why i started playing guitar and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Argyrouthis Umm lol He's not Wes :P

  • @SimonRivasV2 emm wtf?

  • Чувак, у тебя нет слуха.

  • good cover, but im annoyed but 1 thing xD...

when you play the clean verse part, the first to notes are played faster together :P

you make 1/4 notes ? it sounds more like it is 1/8 or even 1/16 :P

  • He replaces the low e string with a bass string. Tuning should be F# F#BE

  • sorry, but he really uses a 4 string guitar (seen it last summer at "Rock am Ring"-Festival

  • @WesBorlandTutorials But it takes a nookie to make 7-string guitar as he wes borland ibanez type the Ax?

  • Pretty good, but the tuning is off. Wes uses a 7-string for this song not a 4-string. Im not sure if he has switched since the came back. so im sure he still uses a 7.

  • u can tune your guitar like this: F# F# B E

  • you are good musician but unfortunately the way you play it is wrong. I still give you 5 stars because you are not a stupid kid trying to impress anybody.

  • you made way harder dude. its no that complicated.

  • Low STring = c#? What is the tuning for a 6 string guitar?

  • the standard tuning is: E-A-D-G-B-E

...in which case the "B" is a "H" e.g. in Germany

  • @mvonwedeking WES BORLAND tuning on a 6 string is C# F# B E G c#

  • can you do a tutorial on just one of those days

  • Isn't that song calles "Break Stuff"

  • @wifebeater79 audacity...

  • The tunning should be F# F#D#E#. On the intro, Wes slides his hand on the low F# instead of going 3rd fret to 5th fret. in the chorus Wes goes 0-2 on the low F# and hits 3 on the high F#.

That should be about right. It's at least a lot easier than trying to slide you finger from the 2nd fret to the 15th on the low F#

  • @StlyeFree go write a story, or make a video. if not dont spam people that are trying to help others.

  • @StlyeFree F# is so fucking heavy

  • I played this song on my Laguna electric guitar yesterday :D

  • could you do a video like this for counterfeit and re-arranged please

  • wow, you're doing great job in all your songs, but damn bridge part is simple and you destroyed it..

  • The tuning that Borland uses is C# standard but the low C# is actually tuned town to F# so that the 5th and 6th strings(in this case 3rd and 4th) can form an octave.Try this tuning it eases you very much.Good luck

  • fucking great master master

  • good job again =)
