Egal wann Simon Philips am Schlagzeug ist, er ist die pure Rythmik. Ich hoffe dieses Trio bleibt, denn sie werden eins in der (ihrer) Musik. 18.03.2011 in Aschaffenburg im Colosaal war eine Faszination.

I was that 15 year old kid with my eyes popping out the first time I saw Simon Phillips at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. 25 years later, after I have had a twenty-year career as a professional drummer, Simon remains the most musically interesting and inspired drummer of them all. I finally got to meet him in New York when he played with E. Jobson, and he is a very nice person as well. Thank you Simon! I hope PSP comes to NYC. Thanks to Phillipe for this music as well!

01.11.09 .. it was a wonderful evening in Osnabrück. Thank you guys for this incredible performance. I was one of the 10 (?!) ladies (Pino told me so) in the audience. It was so nice to meet you all. Thanks for signing the new CD, gentlemen. BTW, Philippe, did you find your "C" ;-))?

Right in front of me was a perhaps 15 years old kid, staring astonished on every move you made, Simon. He had no "ear" on the music, just big eyes on you.
