I agree. This group needs to study the recording, and all of maria's music better. The style of maria's music is not apparent here. I noticed especially on the Tenor solo. Granted, Maria is using professional musicians, but some of the tenor vocab used in Maria's band was not there... In the beginning I started to think: "ladies and gentleman: Dave Koz" haha

that was terrible. my hair stood on end to those tuning notes, I heard the first note and couldn't stand it anymore....That drum solo in the beginning was terrible...and the 1st trumpet sounded like he had waaaayyyy too much spit in his instrument

Sorry, but it was horribly out of tune. The rhythm section doesn't understand the flow of the chart. Very disjunct. Obviously too difficult a chart for this group.

Nice! Great tenor solo, nice trumpet section, love what your soprano player did at 7:47. My big band does a lot of Maria.
