Kevin as a much more smooth approach than Flea. And that, in this particular case, fits better than Flea's in the face punk funk explosive playing. They're both great, they just do it in different ways
@temporaryname73 Ignorant much? Go listen to Kevin Chown's solo album, 'Freudian Slip', and then have a QUALIFIED opinion. About the only thing Flea is better at than Chown is playing funk. This band is not a bass wank gig - Kevin is the glue player here and what he plays is perfect.

But doesn't know the bombastic meatbats as good as rhcp. so: IT DOESN'T CARE even if the bassist isn't as good as michael (flea) balzary, they're friends! and if they we'rent, the wouldn't be THERE got it?
