I am also a full-time CIS student working on finishing my bachelors degree, and I drive a 2002 Cougar V6 that is what is meant to be until after I graduate: Transportation. Can't afford? That says a lot when you think a sub-$10k car is expensive, my Cougar was $8k 3 years ago. Plus, it's better to build a real car after college, rather then be a broke ricer all my life.

***OPINION*** i hate this body of the eclipse lookes like a chipmonk with the front end and the whiskers coming down the side. if they took out those three indents on the side it might look a lil better an get a front bumper without those same three indents. i like you head lights an im a fan of lambo doors, but i hope those arent chrome wheels. chrome is too heavy an defeats the purpose of if puttin them on sports cars cuz it subtracts from performance

dude, not tryin to mess with you, but why bother with the engine if you're gonna put chome rims, lambo doors, and a system in it? then again I'm more of a sleeper guy anyways. I have lambo doors on my s10 but it's a slow truck. and I know lambo doors are not very light. my eclipse looks all stock besides the body drop. just don't put a spoiler on it. remember, fwd, no need for a spoiler. just tryin to give some advice.

just becouse its not rwd doesnt mean it doesnt have a use. a spoiler creates downforce on the back of the car, inturn creating downforce on the rest of the car, in turn making it grip the road better, in turn creating much better handling.

yes it gives the back downforce and might keep you from sliding but you won't get the speed you're looking for. but if you must have that fast and furious look go for it and tell me how that works for you. if you're going for a show car on the other hand, go for it. they look cool but I just would'nt put one on a car I'm gonna race.

i dont care about any show car. and im not talking about any huge wing. those carbon fiber highrise wings work but look robust and gay. The stock wings are heavy but work pretty good. The only wing that I would buy for my car would be a carbon fiber drag wing. If u have ever scene one they look pretty good and weigh about 2 pounds. Thats the performance you would need without the weight to slow you down. I would sell all this flamboiant show stuff for this car and put it all into the motor.

that's nice I guess, just don't try to slam a turbo in a stock engine like some people do. take it slow and build it right and you'll have a real street racer. I would start off with a custom fit cold air intake for starts not the cheap ones.

go to mechanics and they will do the doors open vertically for 100$. But in winter u may have some problems for example water may be going inside the car.

it depends on company which tunes your car. In my country they do it really bad. They remove the gums from the doors and place the new doors. They don't place the new gums since they don't have the tech to apply them precisely. In your country it might be different. But even then those doors look pointless.

reason: you first need to move the doors horizontally and then they switch upwards. That's because car body isn't suitable for such opening and people around your car will obviously see it. If you want really cool lambo doors do what the name says: buy lamborghini ;). Otherwise it appears that you only managed to afford the lambo doors.

I agree with the Subwoofer box position but i have mine facing my subs up it hits fucking hard as hell plus i took the rear trunk cover that hooks onto seat and cut holes in it i fit my speakers in there my subs below with amp and capacitator its very nice position to keep in so just tilt them facing up try it... i have 3000 watt anyway dont matter how i keep them still makes my heart skip..
