@LTstinger007 its an old one, back when the abso had a massive capacitor and a bonus, meaning it was cap stable. my guess is 6 FM pulse laser IIs Medium nos 10mn MWD 24km point web 2 Med armor rep 3 Energized adaptive nano membrane II (or 2 EANM and a passive thermic hardener) Capacitor power relay 2 auxiliarly nano pumps 1 nanobot accelerator 5 light drones, probably Hobgoblin II or Warrior II
Sory to say it my friend but that is a truly horrible fit. You have gone full active tank with the two armor reps but you have no cap booster so your going to neut yourself in no time and because your ship needs cap to fire it's lasers you will be dead in the water. A better fit would be a passive tank 1600 mil tunston plate, sacrifice the web / discrupt for a scram, drop the repers and get a plate on.
Eve online is a complicated game to learn. If you try it do not skip the tutorial and be sure to look for an experienced player to help you out. Believe me some of the game's most usefull tools are things you just won't figure out on your own. Hell I didn't even know there was a directional scanner for 4 months and it really would have saved my ass a lot.
@geforce5591 I own both the sliepnir and have just aquired the absolution as well. I hae to say the sliepner with faction resist and an XL faction shield booster is a beast. Can pretty much recover full shield capacity in just four reps, cap needs careful management though. I killed a nighthawk & huricane in it just last week.

@BlazinNSoul Yes the game is worth it, at any level of activity. This game is pretty amazing, if you play it right. What I mean by that is the game is really at your hands, of course there are things that you can and cannot do, but the freedom is extreme (which make the game never get old). I can tell you now, that if YOU put your mind to it you can be PvPing against characters that have been playing since 2003 and win (rifter). No close comparisons to this game, but its epic.

Jest remember kids you don't even need to have guns to be powerfull in eve. 2 Archon carriers and a Damnation command ship can give you the power to give a 35,000 damage persecond perma tank to any ship in the fleet with 70-80% armor resistances. Its fun when the enemy fleet has to concentrate 35,000 dps on a single target to even scratch it's paint.
can u control your ship with the keyboard by chance? I downloaded the trial 2 days ago then my mom walked into the room so i had to switch the computer off without shutdown(was supposed to be studying) when i went back to play today i cant find it in programs:'( and it was so cool.
What's Eve Online like? I've played some MMORPG's before like WoW but this obviously looks and sounds different. I'm going to do a free trial today or something but if it has enough action to suit my needs for space combat I'll probably get the full version.
let me warn u that it is a very complicated an difficult game. if u fight u almsot definately wont win anythin for the first few weeks. probably months. not in single combat. but if u hook up with a corp or somethin then u can add fire support an be a help in combat that way. or fly an EM warfare frig. which is a HUGE help. but the point is that i will NOT be easy an the trials really dont give u enough time to see how deep EVE really is. so for better play join a corp that will assist u

Yeah when Realistic says you will get nothing from combat he's talking about player vs player combat. Basically you're not going to win any battles you get into with other players unless your playing a support role in a corporation. But on a trial you don't really need to worry about that.
Yeah. I went ahead and finally upgraded to a full account after finding a nice easygoing corp to join (found a guy that posted a comment on another Eve Online video actually, haha, go figure). Some of the corp members have said that in the next expansions there'll be different things to do like being able to manufacture stuff on planets with infrastructure in place or own bars and stripclubs to earn ISK. Sounds like a pretty neat idea.

@Dakarn There is a big difference. In wow when you die you repawn with everything you had when you first died. In eve when you die you dont have crap so you have to go from scratch. @Dakarn when your dead in eve, you dont just stand up from the graveyard. its rather everytime you get killed, half your gear you wear is destroyed, the other half is loot.
so eve s the only pc game i know that gives you an amazing adrenalin kick every time you engage. (its a shitty game though)

Well what can I say. I played 2 months and it's one of the most boring mmo's out there. Mining, combat, ship salvaging is all a bore and is all the same thing. Activate and desactivate. Those are the two things you do in this game. Oh ya, the quests, forgot about those same few quests you do and redo and re-redo all day long....douchbag!!
Well, what can I say. I am playing EVE since early 05, where I created my first trial account for EVE.
Now, after two months you probably have seen like... 5% if it comes high of EVE. "Activate and Deactivate"? Maybe, but tactics DO count as well. If you just go "WWAAAAAAAGH!!!!" *hammers F1-F8 keys*, you will probably die. Salvaging and mining are some of the most boring stuff in EVE anyway, oh, and its an MMO, its primarily about player interaction, and secondarily about fun, you know?

frigs are for girls?! a pack of frigs can easy kill things like BSes! i have been in packs where we killed bigger ships an i been killed by packs of frigs man. they like raptors or some shit! pack hunters. i love my missle auto fox an the rokh ill have in a day but frigs aint nothin to be fucked with.
just ont he abso or any ship? i buffer tank a fox. takes a long time to die. offers more resistnace over the board an protects u from all damage types. the drawback is that even a frig can kill u givin time an opportunity. because ur shileds, or in ur case armo, dont repair fast enough to completely halt all damage. passive tanks are more for fleet an gang warfare than soloin. i found that out the hard way. lol but in a gang they are awesome. especially if u are goin in first as a kind of wardog

I cannot decide which command ship to get... Absolution, Sleipnir, or Astarte? I can have a Sleipnir pretty soon, and be able to fit it properly, Astarte is gonna take a bit more training and also training for proper weapons, and I haven't even trained any Amarr skills yet for an Abso.
If you live in 0.0, the Sleipnir is the way to go, although the Absolution is a nice ship as well. Astarte would just be called primary because of its potential DPS.

it is awesome to Eve players. Its tough to explain if you dont play, but the epicness of the battle isnt in the actual execution, but rather in trying to out-think your opponent, and putting the strategies you've worked on into practice. And if you lose your ship, there is no respawn, its gone. So you have that hanging over your head while your fighting as well.

World of Warcraft, is one of the most retard friendly, easy games I've ever played. I quit it because it was so damn easy. PvP system is shit, PvE is shit easy. The graphics are bad, even tho they're meant to match the old Warcraft games. The Economy in World of Warcraft is shit because it is ruled by monopolizers and gold sellers. Blizzard fixes things that ain't broken and when they find something that is broken, it takes them either 4 months to fix, or they won't fix it at all.

@Dakarn There is a big difference. In wow when you die you repawn with everything you had when you first died. In eve when you die you dont have crap so you have to go from scratch. Then I dont even want to get into all of the crap you have to go through when you get podded. so dont you dare say whats the difference

@Dakarn when your dead in eve, you dont just stand up from the graveyard. its rather everytime you get killed, half your gear you wear is destroyed, the other half is loot.
so eve s the only pc game i know that gives you an amazing adrenalin kick every time you engage. (its a shitty game though)

@stnbraten It's not a shitty game. It's awesome fun. You just need to rely on yourself to find it. And sometimes NO fittings survive. Or your Jump Freighter is killed... Etc. Months, maybe an entire years' worth of work gone in however long it takes for you to die. lol Risk vs Reward is definately a major factor in EVE. More-so than any other MMO on the market.

Well what can I say. I played 2 months and it's one of the most boring mmo's out there. Mining, combat, ship salvaging is all a bore and is all the same thing. Activate and desactivate. Those are the two things you do in this game. Oh ya, the quests, forgot about those same few quests you do and redo and re-redo all day long....douchbag!!

Well, what can I say. I am playing EVE since early 05, where I created my first trial account for EVE.
Now, after two months you probably have seen like... 5% if it comes high of EVE. "Activate and Deactivate"? Maybe, but tactics DO count as well. If you just go "WWAAAAAAAGH!!!!" *hammers F1-F8 keys*, you will probably die. Salvaging and mining are some of the most boring stuff in EVE anyway, oh, and its an MMO, its primarily about player interaction, and secondarily about fun, you know?

just ont he abso or any ship? i buffer tank a fox. takes a long time to die. offers more resistnace over the board an protects u from all damage types. the drawback is that even a frig can kill u givin time an opportunity. because ur shileds, or in ur case armo, dont repair fast enough to completely halt all damage. passive tanks are more for fleet an gang warfare than soloin. i found that out the hard way. lol but in a gang they are awesome. especially if u are goin in first as a kind of wardog

I cannot decide which command ship to get... Absolution, Sleipnir, or Astarte? I can have a Sleipnir pretty soon, and be able to fit it properly, Astarte is gonna take a bit more training and also training for proper weapons, and I haven't even trained any Amarr skills yet for an Abso.

If you live in 0.0, the Sleipnir is the way to go, although the Absolution is a nice ship as well. Astarte would just be called primary because of its potential DPS.

it is awesome to Eve players. Its tough to explain if you dont play, but the epicness of the battle isnt in the actual execution, but rather in trying to out-think your opponent, and putting the strategies you've worked on into practice. And if you lose your ship, there is no respawn, its gone. So you have that hanging over your head while your fighting as well.

no, in freelancer, you can just reload your last save, and thus the entire game is meaningless. Its like when i played WoW. Who cares if you die, you'll just respawn. There is loss, and thus no reason to even care about what happens.

@Aspire198: I played both WoW and EVE for a while. And there is a difference between WoW and EVE: WoW, whatever spell you call almost allways hits. In EVE, not so much, and many things also need charges....etc etc etc. It's not really WoW'y.

the learning curve of this game is a cliffhanger...
but after playing Frontier Elite 2 i had to play a openended spaceshooter and this is really the only alternative... looking forward to learning how to play.

World of Warcraft, is one of the most retard friendly, easy games I've ever played. I quit it because it was so damn easy. PvP system is shit, PvE is shit easy. The graphics are bad, even tho they're meant to match the old Warcraft games. The Economy in World of Warcraft is shit because it is ruled by monopolizers and gold sellers. Blizzard fixes things that ain't broken and when they find something that is broken, it takes them either 4 months to fix, or they won't fix it at all.
