I've tried many times myself so far found non can do mine. Accidentally update to 4.3.4 3gs now stock for a useable untethered jailbreak.

If you got bricked iphone meaning you device shows connect to itune logo after you run jailbreak script that seemly failed. Warning you may lose your data as did mine. You could try hitting restore on itune using original ipsw(Shift click). It's a long wait for me about a day trying to reboot itself and going through default mode. Just leave it. Check back..

hey all. just a heads up, this worked for my iphone 3gs just last night 5.16.2 (or whatever) 4.3.1. i had to use my cousins att sim card and turn the phone off. on. put my tmobile sim in. put att back in. switch. rewind. try again. shake. stomp cry. repeat 5 times. but finally it recognized the sim card. huzzah!

2- Open Redsn0w

3- Click on Extras

4- Click on Just Boot & follow the instructions on the screen and it will boot up your iphone

& this will be ALWAYS the case whenever your phone turns off, you can only open it by this way

@AtactHD Bro, now that iOS 5 is out, jail breakers don't care anymore for unlocking that/untethering it (4.3.5). They're spending more time seeing how to get iOS 5 untethered first. And plus you don't want 4.3.4 or 4.3.4 untethered, they follow to many glitches. just downgrade to 4.3.3. so much easier.
