  • I heard that this lady rescued Gonkar from this pet shop, and i think it's really wonderful. Animals should be taken care of rather than being unloved. Poor thing. Rinpoche and that lady is really a true hero.

    p.s Gonkar is SO cute!

  • i want to come play with Gonkar after I go to Thailand.

  • How devoted. Recently an old student has taken lay persons vows and will be ordained as a nun soon- Anila. Kechara people are really sincere Dharma practitioners.

  • The founder of Kechara Oasis is a long time student of Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. I read it in the weekly e-newsletter. She opened the restaurant to support Rinpoches idea of promoting vegetarianism.

  • Ive read rave reviews about Kechara Oasis in the local media newspaper like The Star, New Straits Times, and magazines too. I love the momo and butter mushroom.

  • I think its great that Kechara has an animal sanctuary to show care to animals, and at the same time, promote care for animals and also vegetarianism through Kechara Oasis, their vegetarian restaurant.

  • Not only those who are in the pet stores, there are animals who are pets, and then were neglected or abandoned because the owners got bored of the toys. Very sad.

  • What a miserable life to be to be stuck in a small cage with little food given. Luckily there are people there who care, like Kechara. I really hope their animal sanctuary project will kick start with great sponsors soon. Animals need care too, they are sentient beings.

  • The sponsor was Datin Jennifer, the mother of Liaison Jamie (Paris) Khoo. So kind of them to ensure this one little being is not living in despair.

  • You can see that its big and healthy now. Thanks to the kindness of Rinpoche & the sponsor who took him in.

  • What a cute dog. Luckily he was saved by Tsem Tulku Rinpoche & Kechara. Poor thing.

  • I just got to know about Tsem Tulku Rinpoche because a friend gave me a book titled, "Happiness, If Not Now When?" I LOVE THIS BOOK! Now, I can even watch his teachings on you tube, follow him on twitter and facebook. This awesome Guru and his team do not seem to sleep much ya! But it also means that we are so lucky to have someone who cares so much about us that he bothers to find all kinds of ways to get through to us! Thats so cool!

  • Rinpoche also has a very friendly forum, theres always room for another member!

  • Really? How awesome! Please add me or link me to it. Thanks so much!

  • Nothing is random in Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's Channel. Everything posted serves as a lesson to be shared and learnt. Its whether we as the viewer realises that or not. And if we do realise it, then we begin to appreciate the amount of effort, time and dedication to do this.

  • Oh my! He is such a cutie. Rinpoche is such a compassionate being always helping sentient beings.

  • So, is this a dog rescued by Tsem Tulku from the pound or something? Because a random dog on a sofa seems like a strange addition to "Tsem Tulku's Channel"

  • What a nice picture of Buddha in the house. Can someone please take a snap of that picture and send me?

  • What a fortunate animal, to be so close to people of Dharma!
