  • "Hard with one hand" *fucks logic*

  • So I've never ever tried djing, I barely even make songs, I've been using FL Studio 9 but I'm lost with it. I plan on making a lot of DnB and electro house, would I need all the same stuff? And I'm sorry if I'm ignoring what I seen in the video, but what should be my first priority? I'm 17 so my money is tight so I can't exactly buy everything at once but what should I get first so I can still make some music?

  • @GutturalBombies Should left this comment after I watched the full video lol.

  • @GutturalBombies

Hey. This is DJ equipment. This is for performing music live. What I can suggest is for you to buy a cheap midi keyboard (LPK) and a drum pad (LPD 8) and you can you can start off pretty decently.

  • I was saving money I thought I needed a mink fur coat to keep me warm this upcoming winter but I will just purchase the DJ equipment, it will keep me much warmer than any coat out there.

  • @kidspark16 About 8000 euro's, 10654,77 Australian dollars. Any good music store/ website. Btw prices can be a little bit off due to sales and what not. Everything that Cotts mentioned is added together in 1 take, what he didn't mention is not in the price.Hope it helped :D

  • @IDJTrizz

dude go with the hercules rmx. thats what i use and ive never had problems with it. metal case and everything. ive dropped it multiple times and it still runs good. but it has all the necessary things and its cheap as fuck.

  • youtube search ((((DJ MACTOP))))

  • Oh and he uses his Stanton turntable as a mouse pad. COOL.......

  • So when your not DJing are you a Colombian drug lord?

  • 08:55 = 1337 (upper left corner)

  • cute bunny

  • "the cdj 900 and 2000 have a much better desplay howevery they do require you to sell your house so you can offord them"

  • It'd be nice if you could make a REAL "where to start DJing" instead of a guide for the people willing to spend thousands of dollars on their first set. Vote this up!

  • If I had to choose I want Cotts' CDJ 1000s and Ravine's mixer. I believe the DJM 909 has the best integrated effects unit for a 2 channel mixer.

  • I'm guessing all this is worth around 8K to 9K??

  • "However the do require you so sell your house.."

  • BUNNEH AND DOMO!!!!!!! <33333333333333333333333333

  • @SuperAZE15 cueing

  • *Thump* Danger!!!!!!

  • @THAnacho16 No, not directly. You can buy an audio interface like serato or traktor Scratch duo or pro 2, but there like $500 and around 336 in euro.

  • whayever u dnt like i will have xD

can u tell me what the timecode bypasser do?

  • Man...I want this stuffs!

  • 1337 efx... so0 1337

  • so basicly your looking at about 2-4k for the basic stuff?

  • They also require you to sell your house

  • @MrBendyStraws Pioneer 2000's cost around $2000 australian, that's what he means when he says that.

  • tht set up cost as much as a new car so i assume you walk everywhere

  • awsome stuff mate... hey if you ever give away your Stantons TT ... I love to be that receiver ...... ... lol..

    ♥♫Music is Life♫

    WATCH THAT HARDCORE MIX TOO!!!

    /watch?v=5TY3ToPBYxA

  • if you only have two CDJ's do you need a 4 channel mixer?

  • @mudman124 you need to watch the entire vid before commenting. he has 4

  • @mudman124 it has great effects...

  • 1337

  • if anyone wants something cheap get a DJ midi controller, they are way cheaper than this stuff

  • @pphatmat yea and a lot worse

  • @enricooo666 its alright depending on which one you get

  • @pphatmat for sure man i totally agree

  • @pphatmat dont be surprised if the cheaper stuff ends up sounding and performing like cheaper stuff tho. If you want good sound and performance with controllers your gonna need a decent computer with a good sound card so there are still many cons to buying cheap. Though it really depends on what you want to do and how you intend to go about doing it. Apples and oranges, coke and pepsi

  • @pphatmat yeah but you always need to have a laptop computer for that

  • @pphatmat Thanks bro, didnt know about these

  • @pphatmat but can you do about the same ?

  • woww... 21st century

  • all you people who are thinking, YEAH! i'm going to go buy this stuff and become a DJ, i hope you have at least 5 grand ready to spend. :)

  • djing doesnt seem that hard, just rly expensive

  • Why You Don´t Use Vinyl and Soft Ware, Like Revine

  • whats actually the difference between the pioneer efx 500 and efx 1000?

    greets ^^

  • @realRAZORCLAW the amount of effects

  • @realRAZORCLAW a lot more effects on the 1000, that's all.

  • jesus ur set up is like 10000, where the hell do u get money like that?

  • @thealanhoff thats not including the equipment he already have that he replaced.

  • @thealanhoff Obviously, as with most things, you accumulate things over time. He would make money from his primary job, as well as gigs and what-not. It all comes with experience and time :)

  • @thealanhoff

He makes bacon for a living :p

  • @thealanhoff Grow Op

  • @thealanhoff Full time job buddy

  • @thealanhoff i'm assuming being such a kick ass dj aha!

  • LOL

  • the mk4 dj kit is good to et started

  • killa, i'm from aus too.

one thing, with CDJs can you like connect them to a mac or something? cos i got heaps of tracks off itunes so their not on a CD. So like instead of putting a CD in the CDJs, load a track off a mac connected it. I could probably burn em onto CDs but that'd just make it easier. Cheers! :)

  • 9:02 1337 on the effects thingy :D

  • I love to press button:)

  • now everything makes sense to get good stuff you need to sell your house

  • you do realise that just the kit (without speakers or computer (fx+decks+mixing desk) is £4654.89...

  • "They also require you to sell your house to afford them" I nearly pissed myself at that! x)

  • 15:17 rofl! lol

  • wht kinds of dj sets are there like for beginners

  • "The CDJ 900 and 1000 have a much better display than this, they can read more formats, but they also require you to sell your house in order to afford them."

  • "The CDJ 900 and 1000 have a much better display than this, they can read more formats, but they also require you to sell your house in order to afford it."

  • First of all, GODDAMN! WHAT A NICE SET UP! Second, you have a fun and attractive personality. Third, thank you for the information it really helped me out :)

  • it's so funny that alot of Dj still go CD, I think the best setup is serato with the 4 cables conected, u can scratch your MP3/WAV and still it's possible to play the vynil. less is more ;)

  • I will buy your whole set up for £10?

  • 13:23 DOMO !!!!! :D

  • if you can aford all this set up you could get a better camera
