i bought the DC 16 Motorhead, was impressed by the technology but this model is just RIDICULOUS. The battery only lasted less than 6 mins of vacuum and u need to recharge for 3 hrs. Unless ur cleaning is so little. DUN BUY this. I got mine refunded. So disappointed with Dyson.
well its a really good vacuum, i have one of those my self and it works really good in small areas, its the greatest vacuum i have ever used, before i had a black n decker and those are stupid, dyson is the best, and it feels good in your hand.

The new DC31 is much better, I gives you about 10 mins of battery time rather than 6 mins with the DC16.

I LOVE my Dyson DC16! The original battery lasted about 4 years, which is about right. I didnt want to pay $75.00 to Dyson for a new one!
I found a great deal on a new battery on ebay!

I am surprised that shredded paper did not clog then nozzle. How easy is that Dyson to use? It looks a bit big for use in confined spaces.
