thats because a comany called willis now owns the building and they renamed it the willis tower. so they changed the video.

The reason the elevator is slower is because they had to fit in the funny video, which Taipiei 101 doesn't have.

u know what sucks, some british copany bought the naming right of the once was "sears Tower" and are going to call it "Wills Tower"!!! THATS A FUCKING GAY NAME COMPARED TO THE GREAT OLD SEARS TOWER.

the sears tower does have more floors then Taipiei 101 but taipei's elevator is faster.

The structural roof of the building (at 442 meters) was lower than the Taipei 101, which is 509 meters tall. The Taipei 101 is the tallest structural building in the world.
