She said that she saw that system of public education wasn’t going to work for her either. She wanted to put her in a private school and she ultimately decided to chose a French education.
Jodie: As a child her family had a green Peugeot that never worked. Every morning they didn’t know whether it would start. Jodie’s mother always wanted to be European, to travel. But she never traveled outside the U.S. before the age of 40.
Jodie Foster's french is amazing.... I'm french and she speaks french as well as I could... maybe sometimes better (and it's not a joke!).
