I'm gonna try that, I have the Redkin antisnap it was like 16 bucks and I ran out I loved the way my hair looked. I'm African american with tightly curly hair & it's very thick and long I have to use alot of it but It's just so expensive for me I could use the whole bottle in a week LOL so this is perfect. @niaZomba At Sally Beauty Supply They Actually Have A GVP Of The Redken Anti Snap! Its Only 5.99 Too! The Bottle Is Pretty Big Too :) I Never Used The Anti Snap, But I Have The GVP Of It & It Works Great :D

I use the GVP super skinny serum and conditioning mousse everytime I wash my hair. Those two and the GVP version of redkin anti-snap are my staple products. I'm African-American by-the-way and wash my hair twice a week so yes its great for our hair too!!

Paul Mitchell is so good. Don't buy anything else. Also if you want super shiny healthy hair give yourself coconut oil treatments. You can buy the oil at Indian stores. That is the secret to the long healthy luxurious indian hair. And, its not expensive.

I've used the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny for about 2 years. When I was about to run out of my last bottle, I happened across the Generic Value brand and bought it. I like the Paul Mitchell bottle with the measured amount dispenser, so I washed out the PM bottle and filled it with the GV product. The ONLY difference I can detect is that the PM product is clear and the GV is slightly cloudy. But it works exactly the same for me.

I work in a paul mitchell focus salon and i'm sure they are not alike at all! paul mitchell super skinny serum, not only reduces fizz and adds shine, it also reduces drying time by tightening the cuticle. that also makes the hair smoother. i'm sure there not the same!

i think bio silk is a great product..BUT i always suggest to check the alchohal content on the ingredient section....some bio silk has alot of alchohal content...it will dry ur hair out.....

yes, i have one and i do not see a difference from when i use a CHI iron and the generic one.

you are right, they are almost the same. the gvp has a little more water in it but basicallky it is the same.

paul mithcell products are only guaranteed through a paul mitchell salon, and once they expire or become otherwise outdated, they are discarded and picked up by imitators (i.e. Gerneric, Target etc..) If that Generic claims to have the EXACT same ingredients, then it is obviously a watered down super skinny, which as of right now is for some reason legally able to be sold. But just so u know, they DO test on animals, and are not guaranteed products. you get what you pay for!

You can find the Paul Mitchell serum brand at any Wal Mart salon, as cheezy as it sounds, but it's very accessable here. Thanks for the info on the Sally brand!
