  • The cover would've have scared me from buying, but TUNE!!!

  • Oh Nancy....You are so beautiful and so cool.......

  • I felt cool when i made this request while in california, it took a couple hours for the dj to dig this one up!

  • sounds rare! 70s nancy is hard to find when i dig for records lol

  • I have this on a 45. When I bought it, it's the only time I have ever seen it anywhere. my favorite Nancy tune. Larry Farrow smashing it with the relaxed Rhodes playing and the sharp synth stabs..John Klemmer on the sax solo!

  • Absolutely love this song.

  • COULD SOMEONE PLEASE UPLOAD WRAPPED UP IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR LOVE....NANCY WILSON OFF OF THIS ALBUM......THANK YOU

  • can you please post open up your heart & you're the one from this album please!! I haven't heard those 2 songs in years!

  • @bradly2007 What is the name of the Capitol album Nancy did with the Crusaders?

  • @eric2181965 The Good Times and The Bad Times: MCA

  • I TREASURE MY ORIGINAL VINYL LP COPY OF THIS. CAN'T GET ENOUGH

  • perfect....

  • I have this album I love this album , I just love Nancy W...

  • played this at the house party

  • medicine, cure, remedy, solution, answer, bullseye!

  • "Sunshine" a funky gem from Nancy Wilson classic 70's era and all those great lp's still not on CD...anyone still at the helm in those Capitol Towers? Really wacked out even incredibly great lp with The Crusaders (Joe Sample keyboards) still not on CD...get with it Capitol...we are waiting! Bravo Nancy, this is sublime!

  • @bradly2007 I couldn't agree more. Would love to get more of Nancy's 70s albums on cd...

Also, I heard there was a plan to turn the Capitol Records tower into an apartment highrise.

  • You know what they say, Chuck, everybody's got a twin somewhere. Did'nt think we'd have to share a name as well, though. :-)

Just goes to show, you have excellent taste in names as well as music.

  • Bellissima.

  • EPIC

  • Amazing.I remember this song. She went silky...to raw...back to silky.Like no big deal.A classic voice paired with the fusion funk of 1979.Thanx for posting.Wish I knew more about the other players on this joint.

  • My favorite album from Nancy! Why no CD!!!

  • got this song on a "capitol rare" compilation cd back in 2001...this tune is like a night on the town with nancy, full of class, soul, and sunshine!! and i just found the whole lp earlier this year..how lucky is that?

  • @hevyonez97 Yes my freind ! I got the "capital rare" compilation in 1999 ! still have it as well as volume 2 ! these comps are not to be found and bought on the internet anywhere.... Magical stuff

  • @PABLOHOLMEZ you must have read my mind, man....i've got both volumes, too, and i pulled them out while i went out for the day yesterday to hear a few cuts...all the r&b/jazz stuff from capitol around that time was vastly underpromoted on the air or even in the stores, and way underappreciated.....i just forund 2 of raul de souza's lp's from 1977 and '78 last month for a buck apiece!!! now that's rare stuff right there!!

  • @hevyonez97 ....ME TOO!..LOL!

  • WHAT A TUNE. One of those occasions when it seems pointless to try and even describe the brilliance and beauty of a song, so all you can do is listen and let it take you. Quality.

  • i love this album i just made it on to a cd

  • Good for you ! My dad got me into Nancy Wilson seeing that he had a big crush on her. I love hitting the vinyl shops for Jazz, Soul etc. and I pretty much laid hands on just about much of her works. I guess i'll run to my closet and pull out my collection to see if I have this one in particular. I like her 70's stuff also. The works she's done with Gene Page & Thom Bell in that 70's era sounds sweet.

  • @harlembreaker131

Long live vinyl. I too love hitting my favourite SURVIVING vinyl shops for jazz and soul gems. Head down, attack them racks and get your fingers dirty..magic.

  • @harlembreaker131

Hell! I'm in my 40's and I've had a crush on her since I discovered this cut in '79.

    Chuck

  • @lightning95sc I am right there too......this was my theme song and this album was IT!

I am also Chuck in my 40's....ya know wha em sayin...:)

  • Someone on the other link said John Klemmer on sax- I don't remember him with such soul, though... but he was big at the time.

  • I've been looking for this piece of music since I lost the LP around 1982....

Who plays sax on this amazing piece? As a matter of fact, who is on bass as well?

    A Masterpiece of jazz/pop/funk fusion!

    A MONSTER hook- simply amazing!

  • The production on this tune is amazing!! Frankford Wayne perhaps?

  • I've got a very scratchy 45 of " iv'e never been to me" by Nancy Wilson that murders the charlene version. Can't find it on here. Can someone oblige? ta.

  • what year is this song

  • 1979

  • a BAAAAD piece! Columbus, Ohio's finest!!!

  • Nancy Wilson is the TRUTH! I've had this album in my collection for years and this is my all time favorite NW jam hands down!

  • Mine too!

  • Heavenly bliss! Best served with a group of friends, vintage wine and soft lights

  • finally i find IT!!!

    That's the song ;)

  • truly a masterpiece!

  • !!!!

  • One of the best singers and songs of all time

  • love it!
