Dimmu and Cradle are good. But, Cradle is a tiddly bit more creative. The themes are more varied. A bit. And on this album, there was Gian and Lecter. Those two were awesome. Too bad that midget Dany got them fired. He's a good artist, but as a band leader, he just sucks so much...

I never understood people bashing cradle because they are not Black Metal. So what if they have a few songs that can be labeled Black metal, that does not make them a Black metal band when most of their songs are mixed genres. They never said : hey people we are a Black metal band.

A.O.S. makes great music, very personnal and disturbing, even if the vocals sucks a lot.
Now, some stuff are not very good (split with Moloch for exemple), but some are really great, such as Vouloir, savoir, pouvoir, Beginning or The unknow of false reality.
Grave miasma is very good musicaly, but really, there is better in term of atmosphere. The others ones I never listened to.

im mainly a classic rock fan. 70s 80s rock and all that but cradle is too good not to love. i remember when i first saw the video for her ghost in the fog years ago and i had to go buy all the albums. its got that whole ambience to it which i do alot of with my own music and the best part is that cradle are diverse but have never strayed too far away from their direction that originally got their fans and theyre still doing great tracks now and do it well live too!

Exactly. Check out Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids. You can really feel that in that song. It's absolutely fucking delicious and so very very powerful. Bittersweet reunion with your inner darkness in this hellish tale their music tells. That's as best I can put it.

I discovered them a while back and was afraid (seems stupid now) but am now IN LOVE with them, they are soooo amazing. Really want to get to know the best stuff.
The new album they have is..-ok- There are a few good songs, but not every one of them is a hit for me like their early stuff. ( just my opinion.) But I would say Vempire, Cruelty and the beast, and Nymphetamine (if you want a break from the "Hardcore")
Midian, was also good. Cthulhu dawn and Saffrons curse are just..brilliant.
Try ALL of CoF's albums and decide for yourself :) could not hurt hearing them all!

Can someone reccommend me their opinion of CoFs best album? and why?
I discovered them a while back and was afraid (seems stupid now) but am now IN LOVE with them, they are soooo amazing. Really want to get to know the best stuff.

The new album they have is..-ok- There are a few good songs, but not every one of them is a hit for me like their early stuff. ( just my opinion.) But I would say Vempire, Cruelty and the beast, and Nymphetamine (if you want a break from the "Hardcore")
Midian, was also good. Cthulhu dawn and Saffrons curse are just..brilliant.
Try ALL of CoF's albums and decide for yourself :) could not hurt hearing them all!

what? there are ORDS in this song? You'd need the lyrics to know ANY of them. That's the only thing that makes it hard to listen to these guys for me.

I know Gazzer had a LOT of CoF songs, so I'll be working on putting loads up in the next week or so to compensate for the loss of, what was, a perfectly decent account.
Can't believe he's suspended. Can he get the account back or does suspension mean it's gone for good?

I really love the lyrics off this album... But does anyone think "Her Ghost In The Fog" lyrics were not fucking amazing? I know its a bit more mainstream, and has produced a lame music video that does no justice whatsoever to the lyrics... But god i loved the imagery
