If he were to show an example, that would be too easy... It's best to confuse people like reading a car manual in Portuguese and that same manual having water damage from a flooded garage in the summer. Just a thought...

I think also, to show a photograph of the example. If you set the camera and the pic is blurred show it. Then when you correct it or change the settings, show the image result.

Wouldn't it be easier to understand if you show this in use rather than simply talking about it? Just a thought, as I know people usually learn better with their eyes than with their ears.
