  • reminds me of waves on the beach! .. foam and current moving in different directions.. BEAUTIFUL

  • @HypnosReveur Hey, if I lived closer to a beach, I'd be recording waves all the time...

  • This was so beautiful.. :')... I love this video! The layers looked so well-formed. Great editing and filming. The music was just wonderful, amazing guitar work.. :) Thank you so so much! Thank you, I read the description, thank you again :)

    Thank you!

  • @Nicolas11x12TECH Hahah -- I was thinking of you when I chose the music -- I wanted something with good guitar work, and layers of sound to match the layers of cloud. And I wanted something interesting to post in time for your birthday. I'm so glad you liked it! :D

  • Just wanted to add that you could not have chosen better music to complete the feeling here...I swear I can almost hear whale song in places. This is perfection.

  • @aplacetohideaway Thank you so much! I knew the sky was interesting the day I recorded this, but I was still surprised by how it looked at high speed. Usually I don't pick music that rocks out this much, but I wanted something that kept building all the way through. I didn't notice before you mentioned it, but yes, I can hear the whale sounds too. :D

  • I cannot tell you how much I love this video! Wow...I've often felt like the sky was another ocean...this just captivated me completely! My heart just soars when I watch this.

  • Incredible! You're absolutely right about the underwater feel. There were parts that reminded me of a lava lamp. And even when the music got loud, the video was still completely relaxing. Loved it! <3

  • @AnnaHeartsTheWorld Hey, your right about the lava lamp comparison, even if the colours here are a bit muted. :-P

  • First, it was SO cool what you did in the tags. Second, I wish I had a waterproof camera so I could capture such neat underwater scenes. Thirdly, while I am too busy watching for planes in your videos to appreciate them, I would like you to know that a gnat was totally captivated by your video and would not leave the computer screen. In sum, you have done some great work here.

  • @effmeelsetosay First, I hope he notices -- I don't think he's been by yet... Second, I would seriously like to have an underwater camera too. Third, I too find that the animals most attracted to my videos are insects. Moths give me the most encouragement. Fourth, thanks!

  • When you get two layers of clouds moving at different speeds and in seemingly different directions, it looks like you've slapped layers of video together. I know you haven't, but that's my initial impression.

  • @RockingJamboree Layers of cloud travelling in different directions isn't all that uncommon, but it's hard to notice at normal speed. It has happened -- albeit less noticeably -- in a lot of my videos, including the Sweet Dreams video I posted a couple of weeks ago, but there the motion was horizontal. Here, the shadows cast by the upper layer create a lot of drama. Couldn't get that effect with two layers of video -- it would require CGI software.
