  • AHH! Its the end of the world!!! He Painted a DeLorean!!!!!

  • The red and yelloe deloreans came out of the factory like that. I think they only painted 4 in different colors

  • @FlyingAero I own a Candy Apple Red one... it's a head turner!

  • Doesn't look right when there not brushed stainless steel.

  • i hope that door hits him in the chin for messing with it too much.

  • Lol you guys are stupid

  • Do you want to know who a real criminal is? Its the son of a bitch who painted this car thats who! Can you imagine defacing a work of art like that with a color like THAT, The son of a bitch ought to have his ass removed!

  • or just stapled shut. i painted one at maaco....yes i know two sins working there and then spraying it.

  • oh no how could you! aw

  • @bttfspencer It was probably done at the dealer way back in the 80s, like many others. Hell, DMC themselves were attempting to get translucent paint as an option.

  • Eheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheh

  • The thing is, If you get into a fender-bender with a stainless steel Delorean, you don't have many options. You can't Bondo stainless steel! So you do the body work, paint the whole car, and then tell people "Well, I just always wanted a red one." Rule of thumb: all painted Deloreans are Deloreans that have had body work.

  • i hope that red is factory...

  • No aftermarket job.

  • I must say, that red Delorean looks sexy!

  • I have to say i prefer painted deloreans to the stainless steel ones, I have a black one with red checkered flag on the side and a spoiler and It looks much better than the stock

  • Well that DeLorean may be rare but it did not roll off of the assembly line with a red paintjob.

  • FIVE STARS +++++++ WOULD VIEW AGAIN

  • how is it rare red

    all it is

    is painted

  • What I'd like to know is: Who paints Stainless Steel?

  • someone who doesn't appreciate a beautiful car like the Delorean

  • think it looks good, more interesting to be honest

  • The red one is rare because nobody would ever paint a DeLorean in the first place...

Makes bodywork much harder and more expensive

  • That is correct, but honestly, I'd rather see a Stainless Steel (Silver-ish) DeLorean.

    But that's my opinion.

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooooooooooooo don't paint it red!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I SAW ONE ON THE ROAD TODAY

  • painting a dolerean is blaspheme!!!!!

  • thats true

  • tru dat

  • NICE!

  • wow, the iron inoxidable can be painted of red??? (im are mexican)

  • Car was built of 304 grade stainless steel. I could never do that to such a beautiful car! Plus it's a huge pain to do.

  • The new DMC engines are actually rebuilt PRV engines with different cam shafts and heads. Output is 197 hp with 192 pounds of torque.

  • I stand corrected! :)

  • Deloreans are not crappy! Yes they did have problems when they first came out, but a lot of new model cars do that! Deloreans had weak alternators. You can buy one now with 100-150 amps. You can get a Stage 2 engine from DMC with 197 hp. In a 2800 pound car you should have a 0-60 of 6 seconds with that engine. By the time the company went under a lot of the issues had been fixed. The new DMC company has ironed out all the other problems. They're not perfect, but not crappy.

  • The original Peugot engine was very bad. The newer ones from the new DMC oftentimes come with reliable Chevy engines.

It was very cool, but the interior was made for aliens.

  • New one still come with the Peugot/Renalt/Volvo engines all DeLorean came with. If it has a Chevy motor, someone did some custom work and not the DMC shop. The PRV is actually very reliable.

  • @tthayer the engine wasn't bad by design (it competed and finished le mans a couple of times as a twin turbo) it's just the DMC versions were made with the cheapest (which means oldest) off the shelf parts they could find.

  • @jammer96 but the problems are a small cost i think for what you get to drive

  • Having sat in it, I can attest to it's crappiness. 8 months it has been there, and no offers have been made.

  • LOL you guys are crazy if that ws you guys inthe video LOL . and the cars red! eh i hate red color hmm I wonder if anyone did one like a Honda Civic Si electro blue? hmmmm

  • THATS BULLSHIT
