  • Sullivan, you are amazing! (:

  • This is really awesome :)

    Great talent!

  • Has anyone converted this to mp3? if so, can you PM me... I'd do it myself but I'm kind of too lazy....

  • Wow, this kid has the blues in his blood!

  • Wonderful song! why don't you record it? :)

    I want that bear!!

  • I must say, I have listened to this song a few times and it's one of my favorites.

  • this is awesome, but what is in the polar bears mouth??? lol

  • Sullivan, one day you will be more famous then your dad. Sorry James.

  • What a talented boy :)

  • Wow u play really good!! :) I play guitar 2 :D

  • @kittyXloveu how old is Sullivan? he is so good! (as his father :-P)

  • Dear Sullivan stay as creative as you are....don't let the "grownup stuff" get you;)

  • Hooray for the acoustic guitar! It's so much sorer on your fingers though... Also, your polar bear is absolutely amazing. I have one about that size, but honestly, no where near as cute.

Keep going with the music! All you need to do now is think of some clever lyrics to fit into your tune =)

  • mijo that was a very beautiful song.

  • wow, blown away by this! nice work!

  • Really Beautiful

  • Oh yeah! That was sweet Sullivan. Now lets hear that on an electric guitar! <3

  • Really cool song. Keep the talent coming :)

  • Sullivan, your so talented. keep it up. great song, love to hear more. and yeah i agree, if you make a CD, please tell us. love your work xx

  • Sullivan you are pretty talented! This song it's got a laid back tone to it, something I'd listen to, to relax after a long day at work, or while having an Aussie Summer BBQ with mates chilling with a beer/wine out the back deck in the afternoon :)

If you ever sell a CD of your songs, let us all know, you've got so many fans, we'd love to buy a copy!

  • Wow, it's amazing. You are very good and I hope we'll get more ;o) And the polar bear is so cute...want have it *lol*

  • Amazing! You are a very talented young man! Keep it up!

  • Oh, one more thing, I wanted to share the kinda feeling/imagery it invoked in me. Feedback is always good, ya know?

Made me think of leaving somewhere for something better, something great, like, if someone leaves behind their family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, to go to LA or NYC, to try to make a life for themselves in the arts.

A melancholy kinda leaving because you just gotta do it, kinda thing.

  • (finally got it loaded)

Sullivan, i say this one artist to another, & i would say it no matter who you are, that was beautiful. I'm amazed given your age and only a year playing that you wrote something so pretty. But it sounds a little sad :(

Keep at it if it makes you smile, makes your soul sing.

Do me a favor? Go shake the crepe myrtle tree letting the "pink snow" fall down on your head for me (not on camera-eek!), i had a huge 1 @ my grandmoms til i was around your age, i kinda miss it. :)

  • Hey that's great!!! Wish I could play like that! Can't wait to hear more.

  • to be honest i feel speechless Sullivan. You have such an amazing talent and i feel honoured to be able to listen to this.

Keep on doing what you are doing. You are great!

  • beautiful. thanks for sharing!<3

  • That is wonderful Sullivan. You play really well. Thanks for sharing with us.

I love the Polar Bear in the back too. : )

  • Think Sullivan is really talented guess the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. can't wait to hear the rest.

  • Love the polar bear and how the video was named for it. You have great talent and I'm amazed at how well you write and play. I can't imagine writing 11 songs! Keep up the excellent work and thanks so much for sharing it with us.

  • Keep it up Sullivan, if it is what lives in your heart, what comes naturally, chase it down like its the last train out of a imploding town,

The world will always need music & art,

Thats why some of us are born artists.

Art reminds us we're not alone. Someone who helped me find myself by refinding own art said that once or twice.

His art does, indeed, remind me i am not alone, and not a freak, something i am forever grateful to have. :)

  • Awesome Sullivan! You are shaping up to be one heck of a talented performer. Keep it up! :)

  • Too awesome! You're very good, please keep giving us more to listen too :{D

  • I keep returning to this beautiful song, amazed how you distinctly not sound like your Dad, although James´guitar playing was likely a great part of your listening experience.

But this is no copywork at all and I think it´s incredible that you´re already developing your own style. You´re very talented.

  • Then what is the name of song? What does the polar bear have to do with anything...... I like the name polar bear for the song.....

  • i love seeing polar bear in the background:) awesome job, can't wait to here more!

  • It's a gorgeous song already, I'm anxious to hear what lyrics you will come up with! Fantastic job and good luck :D

  • I'm impressed. When I'm writing, the lyrics have to come first and the music comes second. I think, sometimes, the music suffers for that. It's great when people can do the music first and deal with the lyrics later. And, it's especially great to see obviously talented kids use a forum like this for feedback. Hopefully it's honest and useful.

    Ruby

  • Sullivan i am impressed!! not sure i could even figure out how to hold the thing!

  • If you keep playin like that, think you're gonna go far, man. Awesome work...can't wait to hear more :-)

  • A song like a summer daydream.

I could listen to this all day. I see a rocky beach in the late afternoon sun. Awesome.

  • I'm posting again to tell you, Sullivan, and you, James, (I'm assuming you're both running this channel) that you are very gifted musicians, and that Sullivan (you) should definitely consider a career in the music business. That's some nice guitar-playing. :)

  • Honestly...it's beautful. And I'm not just saying that because you're the son of James Marsters.

Its a lovely little melody honey. And that's coming from a woman whose uncle played guitar for her til the day he died.

I never get tired of the sound.

  • Well done Sullivan. Do you write lyrics as well?

  • awesome!

  • Hello Beaugos two, very sweet music and a gentle smile at the end who could ask for something more ? The old intoxicated patched one (yet still heartbreaker) must be very proud !

    YlvYt

  • wow Sullivan, great song, compliments, you have a creative soul. Keep up the good work.

  • this could definitly be used as background music during some films. First thing that came to mind was Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (don't shoot me) or anything else with someone running around a city looking for their love interest.

  • Keep them comin' Sullivan - I'm really likin' what I'm hearin'! Pretty soon you will have enough music of your own for a CD!

  • Beautiful riff and very nice sliding action there! Would love to hear it with some lyrics, if there are some in the works. 5* for you, Sullivan. =)

  • Sullivan, glad to see you're still working that guitar - and glad to see the Polar Bear still lives with a Marsters. Stay with the music--it will always serve you well. Need pics?

    Tonie

  • It's really niceee ^.^ great song!.

    kises from Spain!!!

    xoxo!

  • Great job Sullivan, it sounds awesome. I like how you ended the song, that was clever.

  • I really like it it's so pretty, I loved Jame's work as spike so it's really cool seeing what his family is like and how musically talented he and sulllivan are, =)

  • Lovely song! It's got a nice, relaxing quality to it. Very mellow and charming.

  • ETA: It's got a very 70's English feel to it, almost as if it could have been by Lindisfarne or McGuinness Flint.

    Great song again!

  • Great song! Talent must run in your family!

  • makes me thing of roadtrips and sunsets

    and summer rain

of hope and things to gain

it's awesome because it's sort of hopeful, but sad at the same time. Like the kind of song you would play in a movie when a couple is leaving their wedding for the beach after all of the festivities.

  • We had the same visuals!! Sunset and sea!

  • It's amazing enough that you play as well as you do, sullivan, but I am really impressed that you are writing your own music. I could listen to a song like this over and over. Good job...and thanks for sharing it.

  • GO spike:D oh great song too. but GO spike:D

  • Very nice song! Sullivan seems to have real talent. I can't wait to hear more of his original work.

  • It's really nice. I like it. :-) I've listened a few times now... This will sound dumb, but I closed my eyes and tried to imagine where it takes me. I pictured 'leaving', not because one has to but just feeling it's time to go, setting out and not really knowing where the road will lead, but it's OK, not knowing. Told you, it was dumb...lol. It's truly a pretty song...hopeful sounding to me. I look forward to hearing your other songs, Sullivan.

  • Beautiful song reminds me of home! I can't wait to hear the others. You seem to have a real talent!

  • It's a really nice song

  • Lovely. Sullivan has a real talent. I think the polar bear approves too. :) Thanks for sharing.

  • wow its very beautiful

  • good job

  • Its a beautiful song.
