that woman is a real ***** if i were there at the time i would have given her a piece of my mind or if they were my horses. and the other thing she did was wack the other horse away i think that this video is appalling
She seems snotty, and gives the impression of looking at her horse as nothing more than a tool to be used to show off with for meaningless prestige, and the approval of shallow people. The English discipline is full of people like her, and that's why I can't stand it.
@LegacPercussionSabre yeah! She acts so mean! I always have being told i should leave the bad mood at home, or else I shouldn´t be at the stable at all, cause when my mood is down the horses mood will be down too! :)
Just beautiful! I always wish I could do this but seeing as I ride western and don't show often it would just be a little silly for my mare to ride around the stable with fancy pants plaits lol
Ha, you lot who think she is arsey or seeing her horse as a money maker. You are seriouslt talking total C**p she is a top show producer and has recently lost some of her top horses. And you have the cheek to say that. Ha you make me laugh!
@jellyytoots That's not for native ponies though is it? Besides, I'm in Berkshire and the furthest North we go for a show is the NPS summer champs once a year.
@ApachenMe Rubber bands snap easier and don't look professional enough for the show ring. I'm glad I'm not allowed to plait - I have a native pony. I think thread is easier to take out - it doesn't get stuck in their mane and doesn't pull any hair out.
I think that's Louise Bell. She produces show horses - it's her job. There is no attitude problem-she calmly asked her to stand still in a way that anyone else would.
For the person who said she was told off for doing something wrong at a show-not all showing people are like that and you may have got in the way or something. The showing world is a tough place-there is very little prize money (Around £200 max for a championship final) and the only money is from producing and selling horses on.
for people saying the lady has attitude there is a difference between getting your horse to stand still with a stern voice if she had an attitude she would have done more than use her voice. what you need to realise is she may have mutiple horses to do in a short period of time. she also praises the horses and plaits to give the horse comfort.
this lady obviously thinks that horses aren't people too (or any animal) this is what many women were like at horse shows i've done. i was 8 and was cussed at for something i didn't know i was doing wrong. i can just say that i am sorry for the horse and anybody else that knows her! and am glad i'm not one of them!!
There is no such thing as an attitude problem. She just have a personality that you can't handle, or simply don't like. If she had a "problem" then basicly, noone would agree with her at anytime. So basicly, the one having a problem is you, with her attitude. Quite ironical.
@ApachenMe That's how I would plait my pony's mane. I haven't plaited it like that before, but ive done it in a lattice plait. However, I pulled her mane the other day, so now I can do this plait, but I don't really know how to do it.. :/
see people like her iritate me. she is one of those people that doesnt really care about her horses comfort. she want her horse to be the best show horse ever. he isnt going to be. animals arent perfect, that why we love them. the mane looks really pretty but people like her iritate me.

Why is the end of the video cut off? :( I went to the website but couldn't find it in full there either.
@0xxRedVixenxx0 - lol, what on earth makes you think she has an attitude problem? You, however, DO seem to have an attitude problem...

when you plait tho you HAVE to make sure its not pulled to tight! it is VERY uncomfortable for the horse when he moves his neck.

Your horse is in love with the stall . Why do horses do that ? Mine do it two . Alot at showes tho.
