Dude, I followed your guide to the T. Im not new to android. I get the same "rainbow" after reboot. A bunch of artifacts.

@tlxxxsracer search for Asus Transformer NVFlash Stock 3.1 & Stock 3.2 Recovery Roms, it'll give you a forum with a topic where u need to register for the link[yeah....], download the file, run apx mode on your transformer and start the download.bat file

it'll format your entire system, this is an unbricking method

If anyone is having issue with rooting, delete the boot.img and only leave the reocvery.img file there. It worked for me and you can get a complete stock backup and also install another kernal.

try this: while you have a folder open on windows explorer, hold down shift then right click anywhere on windows explorer.. you should get a "open command prompt" option in the context menu.. it'll open a command prompt and you should notice that the command prompt is pointed to that folder already.. you don't need to cd all the way to the folder from the root directory.. just a neat trick i learned somewhere.. i do that to adb install an apk in my downloads folder..
