  • thank you! i appreciate you listening to my versions of yeats' poems.

i am a guitarist, and most appreciate guitar-centered music.

  • I like the whole thing and my favourite part is the violins etc from around 3:27. A really beautiful lull. Nice plucks and then the brass and the ergency really gets going and builds. I enjoyed this a lot.

  • Hi Kyle..I must say the beginning threw me...but as I listened I think you have composed an amazing piece!!! Darkness & Light...

  • muito bom

  • Buenisimo ! un placer escucharlos y dejar que los sentidos vayan donde quieran guiados por esta expléndida orquesta...gracias

  • aww great;)

  • For chamber, balance is very important

trp is too sharp (the sharp here does not mean the tone)

    just too strong

And string department in high register is a bit weak

    e.g. those glissando

  • Sometimes very intimist like in a string quartet in pianissimo, one would like to hear a full symphonic orchestra in rythmics fortissimo. Whatever, it's a good work and you have a real talent for a so young composer! congratulations.

  • Gelled not belled. In the pocket. That's what I was trying to say.

  • I enjoyed the piece. Sometimes I felt like the crescendos could have been exaggerated more. There were between the sections that could have belled better. I think that when sections were playing similar material they weren't really feeling each others energy. I could have used more horn in the parts with thicker orchestration. Soloistically, I felt the musicians could have been more dynamic. It seemed a little monotone at times with solo parts, like the horn and string parts for example. Just n

  • Bravo!

  • echo the points below. additionally I enjoyed the clappers feeling like a separate thing off on the side... as in main story going on in front of me but something is going on over there . then came together at the plucking section and later went off to the side again.

  • To be honest l am a bit blind on my iPhone and l didn't check to see who was playing. What a beautiful surprise to hear this talented group of youngsters play this mentally and emotionally provocative piece of music. It had a bit of everything to challenge a great musician never mind a young one. The quality if sound was lovely and the composition incredible. I hope to hear more from these young people and the composer too.

  • great work, Kyle! the composition and the performing are very nice.

  • The titel of this peace is a little scary for me. Its like the kid in the next room trying to play the violin. But you peace is great. Nice stucture and the performing is stunning. Bravo

  • Thanks for sharing. Great stuff!

  • what can I say? lots of suspense there. Made me a bit sick to the stomach and I mean it as a compliment!!!

  • really wonderful. Thanks

  • Love the suspense of this, keeps me intruiged about whats coming next.

  • this is funny :)

  • Opening is definately an attention getter. Great sound. Kind of like a movie score..lots of suspense. Listened a couple of times.

  • orchestral animations,

    fluent, dynamic intervals,

    the turning of time,

    awash in lyric parameters,

    visions of modern textures,

    vibrant percussive elements,

    intuitive brass, vocal strings!
