@niknik326 at our school to be captain you have to write an essay explaining why you'd be a good captain and make up a routine using the skills you've learned throughout your year or years in guard the our band instructor and color guard instructor choose based on past experiences with you and your leadership and how you performed :) it's a lot of work but it's worth it!

@killerice1212 It took a while for me to learn it, but once I did I used it in my solo and got first place.(: It's kind of tricky at first, but once you get it, it's awesome! It's all about the rotation of your wrist when coming above your head. And where you toss in the air. I hope this helps! GoodLuck!

I am not in gaurd at my school...well im not in high school anymore just graduated!! But i have a friend who does winter gaurd at his school and when i go to his house he teaches me new tricks and routines or we make one up.
