  • Her God given talent was just awesome. She had a voice of an angel. And not a voice today can compare. Her voice was, is and declared today as timeless. The lady rock's.

  • fabulous

  • One of my favorites, by Morgana King! The LP from, which this song derives, had so many beautiful songs.

  • Oh Boy, Did you do a beautiful job of paying a wonderful tribute to Ms. Morgana King.

Your choice of paintings, your syncronizing of the footages and the edits in general were wonderful! Thank you for doing such a wonderful job of bringing Morgana to us all in such a great way !!

  • I was blessed to have seen her in her final concert at the Cotton Club in Chicago. Tears ran down my face as she opened her mouth and "that voice" came out. The same voice I listened to on albums when I needed centering. She got me through many difficult times, but that night at the Cotton Club - God gave me a gift that I will cherish forever. My first and last live concert...in a very small club...with Ms. King less than 8 feet from me. Thank you, Morgana King, for giving your voice to us.

  • @jillrmalik Lucky Lucky guy!

  • My new neighbor is Morgana King. I had no idea who she was until I looked her up on the internet. Man, do I feel dumb. She's very down to earth.

  • @cutenhunky i

i sure would like to get an autographed picture of her when she was young though. tell her hi. and love and peace

  • @cutenhunky Wow I did not know she was still alive. My mom loved her music. My mom died in 1997 and when I want to feel her comfort around me I put on Morgana King, Nancy WIlson and Gloria Lynn. Does she live in New York? My parent saw in in Chicago at Club Delisa and the Cotton club

  • when the world was gay

there is nothing as gay as paree

  • This is great. As Mama Corleone she is absolutely irristible. This proves that it's not about age, but about emanation. Boy, would I like to have kissed her then.

  • A magnificent voice! Heard too seldom

  • Why were there jack-o-lanterns hanging in July?

  • Maybe she missed the word...It was supposed to be "hammocks"...

  • Morgana King was at her absolute peak vocal form in 1968 and this is a tremendous & stunning example...her lp from that year I Know How It Feels To Be Lonely sadly has yet to be released on cd and is a truly glorious vocal masterpiece! Bravo Morgana!!!

  • Cannot agree with you more that Verve's I Know How It Feels to Be Lonely is one of the great albums. It is astonishing considering how much Verve reissues that they do not consider releasing that iconic album. How much Blossom Dearie is out there is wonderful but I am not sure she had the mainstream following that Morgana had due to the TV work she did. She was frequently on Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin -- in their day, this was huge. I say this only to make this point: IT WOULD SELL!

  • Beautiful song by the fabulous Morgana King!
