I've read that the government has admitted to killing at least some of the birds as part of a program called "bye bye blackbird" - supposedly a farm program as these birds eat grain and poop on cows and farm equipment - not a new program been going on at least a decade targeting Crows, Starlings, and most blackbirds.

So how did this gas kill 10000 buffalo and cows in Vietnam 2 days ago without harming anything else?
