I now am a proud owner of a VY SS but not so long ago I was a ford man, and I gladly admit I have still a big soft spot for the EF Tickford range, I had the EFII XR6,and brother I know exactly what your problem is. Next time you go to do the line locker, when ur at a full stop, lock the steering all the way left or right, reset the brakes by letting go and hitting them again all whilst the steering is locked and GO GO GO. At full lock ABS disables and off you go son!!!

bigcbr, they get to 80 in 1st with a 3.08 diff, still pretty shit gearing but 4.11's or 3.9's and it'll probably get about 60 in first... problem solved :P

Kester55, i reckon the ef autos would be good if they were kitted out, mine was good through the gears, a bit of lag between 2-3 but otherwise good. Would think they would go well with shift kit. Don't know about anyone else but how windy is 1st gear in EF autos, sound like straight cuts!
