i thought they did it with a gun that would be less painful cause its quick i guess but what do i know i havent even had it done! but i cant wait till i do! lol

Actually, it is cartilage that the needle goes through. I have my nose pierced much lower (for a ring) where it's thicker and it hurts a little more in that location than it does where the girl in the video got it (up where the cartilage is thinner.) But I still wouldn't say it hurts all that much. Just a little sting as it pops through the cartilage which usually makes your eyes tear up. By the way the piercings I have on my face are my nostril, lip, labret, eyebrow, and tongue twice.
mkay to all of you curious...getting your nose pierced doesn't hurt :) at least not for me. i was actually surprised. BUT mine did go a hell of a lot faster than this, as did my friends who got it pierced at the same place. only took seconds and it was done. and it didn't hurt. so dont worry :) if you can pop a zit you can do this ^_^. and it's not cartilidge that its going through.
i would have thought nose piercings would hurt more, as your piercing through cartilage. when they pierce your navel, theyre just piercing through skin..but i wouldnt know..just what i reckon lol

guns shatter your cartilage, take longer to heal and are more prone to infection.
