  • That thing is HUGE!!!

  • just got this brush today!! i love it!! im going to use it for bronzer. thanks so much for the review! i appreciate it

  • The differences between the darker bristles and the light ones is that the white ones are bleached, making the hairs more porous, therefore able to pick up more colour/product.

  • Do you have a review anywhere on how Sephora brushes generally match up MAC/Sigma brushes? I'm travelling to Europe and I probably will be raiding Sephora there, so I'm trying to research the best buys!

  • I only own 2 sephora brushes this one and the #55 airbrush one! Sorry!

  • well, the MAC 150 is smaller and it's not really soft IMO, besides it sheds really mad so it went back to the store.

  • the brown bristles r senthetic

these are goat hair and much better quality

    and more expensive

    :)

  • I'd probably pay the extra 2 dollars for the MAC brush that's more versitile. You're already blowing 40 bucks.

I have a hard time investing in brushes when I could just buy more makeup

    good review though, thanks!

  • I agree on the extra $ for a MAC one cause I love my mac brushes. But I will say also a good brush can make your makeup look flawless and will last for years and years! :o) Enjoy!

  • the brush make more of a difference when applying than just the type of makeup you use..QUALITY over quanity is best

  • I looooooove sephora brushes :D make up is my job and for cheaper and good quality there's no wrong in it! they do the work really good.... but NOT all are awesome... u gotta feel the hairs and the handles :D

  • I do like them also, but i am still a MAC brush lover! :o) Thanks for wathcing!

  • ooh, thats nice!!

  • thank you so much! :o)

  • It looks like the Clinique Bronzer/Blender Brush, which I absolutely love for a natural-looking application of bronzer!

  • oh cool- i am glad to hear about anotehr brush that is similar! Enjoy! :o)

  • Not to by snoby or anything but it is Essy1993 Essay1993 :P

    Not trying to be mean

  • opps- sorry! :oP

  • brilliant review if only we still had sephora here in the uk!!! ur skin looks amazing!

  • thank you so much- I am glad you enjoyed the review! No Sephora??? :o(

  • Great vid =) can you please do a review on MAC mineralize products ?

  • I have that on my list to do a video on- thansk for the idea! :o)

  • great vid. i bought the brush 226 and i love it, it's my favorite brush from mac, i love it.

  • yeah- glad you got the 226- it is awesome! Enjoy!

  • Great review - my 182 and 187 shed also but a little bit....I guess the 187 sheds a bit because of the thick texture of my foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation), so I have to be very careful. Lisa, have you tried the Revlon Colorstay foundation that everyone seems to be raving for on you tube?

    Thanks for this video!:)

  • They say the natural bristle brushes do shed from mac! I have not yet tried the colorstay- I want to but I just havent bothered since I have so many- maybe I will have to look again! :o)

  • I usually love sephora brushes but the shedding is such an annoyance. I would say that overall sephora brushes are great, but for the price difference on this particular one I would have to go with mac. of course anyone who has mac brushes knows its hard to like anything but mac brushes once you try them.

  • yeah MAC brushes definetly spoil us! It is beacause they are hand made! Love them! MAC just doesnt have a big brush like this one! :o( Hint hint to MAC!

  • similar to that is my costco round brush and never shed even 1 bit. i use for my blot powder and it works wonders. i do wanna purchase the smudge brush from sephora.

  • yeah! glad you found a great brush too! i love their smudge brush! I have it in my travel set!

  • Hi there. Hope all is well. Very nice brush. For some reason my 188 is shedding like a cat in the spring. I wrote to them to let them know that I have washed it and expected shedding to start, but this is ridiculous. Very strange for MAC. Anyway, they wrote back stating they were sending me another along with another "set of brushes" for the inconvenience. Wow. Great service. Anyway, I love your brush & need to check out those Sephora professionals. It is unique.

  • the natural bristle brushes do shed a lot. I am glad MAC took care of you! I have always had a great experiece with them shipping me things right away if there was a broken piece or something! Great service I agree! Enjoy your new stuff! :o) Cant wait to see your YT room!

  • LOVE the review!!! I have a question..I wonder if this happens at all. On friday I bought 242..and I was trying it out tonight..went to wash it and noticed that ALREADY the numbers started rubbing off!!! I got SOOO upset!! all of my MAC brushes were bought within last month..and 217 the word MAC is almost erased..and I bought it on new years eve!! :( is this normal?

  • yes- most of my numbers have worn off and they wear off quickly- some people put clear nailpolish over the #'s in order to keep it longer! I dont worry abotu it I figure it is one flaw in a great brush!

  • I hate shedding soooo much,

the few MAC brushes I have so far have spoiled me :P

  • I agree my MAC brushes do spoil me! :o)

  • love the review. i used the shiseido mascara base today! loveeeeee it. thanks for the thorough review on it!!

  • glad you liked it! yeah! It makes those drug store mascaras just great! :o)
