Well... i liked it! and the solo is not so bad! But I think that anyone who trys to play Little Wing should also try to SING it. Lord knows Jimi was embarrassed about singing and I was terrified when I tried to cover his beautiful song, but so what! If you love the song, the voice will show the love, even if you think you can't sing! Try it! You just have to be honest, then the singing will work itself out. Long Live Jimi (forever in our hearts and ears)!
@johnragin3 you know this is from a dvd that is all about teaching hendrix songs on guitar? On the dvd he always plays the entire performance and then he slows i't down and teaches it. You're right that if you exactly cover the song for real that it's nice to sing with it.

@johnragin3 He didn't sing because this was taken from a straight guitar instructional DVD. This is the performance section, which is only meant to show you how to play it on the guitar.
@metalvampire660 You are right. But what I don't understand is why Danny messes it up with a cheesy organ gringing away in the background if it supposed to be a guitar instructional. Even a bad singer would be better than an irrelevant organ. I suppose this is good for beginners to learn, but Jimi didn't play the chords the way Danny is playing them. As I've said before the lead is pretty good, but too much distortion.
@johnragin3 The organ is there because they do not have voices on their backing tracks. If you say the lead is too distorted or whatever, I can't help you with it. It's the way that they have done it. And about the first matter that we've discussed, about the voice, none of Lick Library's performances or backing tracks have voice in them.
