Portsmouth really isn't like this at all - sure there are some shitty areas like in all cities - but overall it's a decent place. I was born and raised in Portsmouth, still living here and I'm happy. The House of Burberry thing is quite shameful but at least they took the name on in an ironic fashion, although that's probably lost on most of them.

HAHAHA Portsmouth toughest town? I spent my teenage years in Portsmouth and yeah, we like a fight, but theres much worse cities! I grew up on an Estate in Sheffield, have lived on an Estate in Manchester and now live just North of London. Trust me all you'll get in Portsmouth is a couple of digs, or bottled at worse. In alot of other cities you get mugged, stabbed, or shot just for being in the Place.
