I don't use Ally, but folks who think the kids are permanently scarred might want to watch the " behind the scenes " video. And yes, that little girl was shooting daggers with her eyes.
Did all you race card poker players ever think that the brown haired girl was picked for that part in the play because of her unique personality? If they reversed the positions I assure you the commericial would not have been so successful. So now it is not just blacke people it is not brown hair? You people make me want to vomit!
That little girl looks like she could stab him to death after he tells her that she didn't ask for a real pony. I'm about to die from laughing so hard!
This is a cute commercial. Ive wondered if the girl in the blue actually was surprised and gave a real expression,or was it just good acting. You can tell there was a retake in this film. From the distance shot, the girl in the blue shirt is seen with her arms folded, then the next scene her arms are down.
@wilber53 That may be because sometimes kids talk to much. These were real reactions from the kids, so she might have started talking all about how she had always wanted a pony and what color she hopes it will be. They maybe just didn't want that in the commercial, so they cut it out.

ATTENTION INTER-WEBS: I have a hundred dollar bet with my girlfriend that the dark haired girl who gets the toy pony has a middle eastern accent. It's not extremely noticeable, but you can hear it when she pronounces the "r" in "real". If anyone can help me find info on this girl, name or where she's from, it would be greatly appreciated!
I'd take the toy pony any day! The real one needs food, water, housing, vet check-ups, daily brushings and cleanings, nail trimmings, etc. When all is said and done, ten grand just went out the door! No thanks. I'll take that money elsewhere. If the girl wants one, she'll have to 'pony-up' the cash and the real cost of keeping one.
I just watched the commercial above (was focussing on girl's reaction), then I realized I don't know what the product their selling. Nice commercial but... :)
I have mixed feelings about this ad. I would think to get that "disappointed" and "hurt" look from the child who "lost out" was not captured in real-time, but during some other part in the filming. It looks genuine and very believable. So believable you feel anger towards those creating the ad. I really don't believe actors this young are good enough actors to express the emotion as shown. So it makes me wonder what was really done to make her have this expression.
I think these Ally commercials are hillarious and completely genius, but I can't help but feel angry for using these cute impressionable young children as examples......
We should be caring for our children, NOT messing with them, even if it's "just" a commercial.
Best commercial ever. This guy is so lucky there's not a gun or knife around. I stop and watch this commercial everytime it comes on. That little girl is so cute... and mad!!

I think it's a poor way of expression! Why use children to exploit your ad? He's say's .but you didn't ask! he never said a real one at first! Try another way to make your commercial and don't use children for your benefit! I hate the commercials and I will keep being a thorn in your ad's!!!!!!!!!!!
I laugh every time I see this commercial on TV. "You did not say that I could have a real one" oooh, the look in that girls eyes! She looked like she could have tore that man apart. LMAO!
These are the absolutely the funniest commercials I have ever seen. I don't know how that man kept a straight face while filming them. My husband and I watch them over and over and laugh like we've never seen them before! Thanks Ally!!
What hurt the most, is that the toy pony had the exact same garments, saddle and stuff as the REAL pony. Heartbreaking.
