haha i can't stop watching this video! the olympic games is the most pure of sports events. some athletes might be awarded prize money by their countries, but no other stage has produced more heroes and extraordinary performances beacuse in the end, it comes down to honor, passion and pride for one own's country. A lifetime of training goes into reaching this stage, and when you win, i can only imagine the feeling.

I was in Beijing for these Olympics...at the baseball venue everyday. But it was great returning to our hotel each night and watching, at one point or another, part of EVERY sport in the Olympics. YOu never get that in the States. We saw them all. It was a great time....

2:51 Matthias Steiner, weight lifting - my favourite gold medal winner. He was the guy who showed a photo of his dead wife at the winners ceremony. She died in a car accident not long before the olympic games. It was so touching!
