Come see us in Ecuador: journeymanjack(.)com Quito is the Capital, right on the Equator, at 9,350 ft. (1.77 miles) above sea level in the heart of the Andes Mountains, where the weather is 50's in the evening, and 70's during the day all year round. Valley of Eternal Springtime! Do not hesitate to contact me for your relocation or exploration needs!
I have been advertising for someone or a small group (who wants to use the rapidly depreciating US dollars before they become toilet paper) who wants to invest in upgrading/construction of a big stone house situated on 43 acres of beautiful mountain land, which is in a university town only 26 miles from the international airport and the capital city in a Central American country.
It seems nobody has any foresight or imagaination.
Worried about hyper-inflation that could make the price of a loaf of bread $100.00? Worried about the missing gold in Fort Knox? That the "gold" is merely tungsten slapped with gold paint? What about the looted trillions from the US economy? Where did it go? Worried about your lost pension? The Raided Social Security fund? Well, worry no more! They left us IOUs!.
NOW I finally understand why Harry Reid said that the Social Security system is completely solvent, and will only need a few tweaks in about 20 years...(the writhing on the IOU's may be a little faded by then).
I love how when the brief case is opened up, Mary and Nicholas look heartbroken/panicked, but Lloyd's just got a big smile on his face like, "See? IOU's. Nothing wrong."
It's the Social Security Trust Fund... the next I.O.U. is the Social Security Disability given to drunks and drug addicts... next the I.O.U. for retirement benefits for parents of Illegal Aliens who never worked a day in the USA. Do I need to go on?
Wonder if the Chinese get a laugh out of this clip?
Now the Federal Reserve is the largest holder of government IOUs. Of course since they are the Federal Reserve they don't give a shit what kind of crap "assets" IOUs they put on their balance sheet. Hell Lloyd's IOUs are good enough for the FED. BoooooYaaaa sheeple.
this video really shows us reality in how fraudulent our money is created and how it is backed only by debt.
The governments lie to us by hiding this info and all us people including over 90% of you whom read this comment are so oblivious to this situation and how it is has enslaved so many Americans and world citizens.
Fiat money isn't backed by debt. Fiat money is backed by a government guarantee of redemption (which is fraudulent) and its declaration as legal tender (which is arbitrary). However, what inevitably follows is debt spending on behalf of the government, for it's politically expedient to obtain money through hidden taxation (interest payments, inflation, etc) rather than through explicitly taxing through the IRS.
can anyone find the scene after this where lloyd and mary are handcuffed on the bed, then harry walks in and mr. andre chucks on the bed, then lloyd takes a pillow and tries to throw it at him.... thought it was underated, but subtle funny
Kind of reminds me of Social Security... By the time I am able to collect all of the taxes I paid in, the Social Security Samsonite will be stuffed with worthless IOUs.
What's ironic is that paper bills are basically IOU's. The only difference is that a government can beat anyone into submission that says otherwise. That is the only thing that keeps a 100 dollar bill or 100 Euros from being as worthless as toilet paper. Fiat currencies and central banks are the inevitable downfall of every country, and has been destructive to every economy who has utilized it (not just the US).
@Hapafull Federal Reserve Notes are labeled as such. They only "work" as long as people are willing or forced to take them. As Lloyd says, "that's as good as money, they are IOUs".
For a historic real store of wealth, buy gold or silver you can hold in your hands.
@raamjames1 No, I mean the whole US economic system. Social Security is worse than a suitcase full of IOUs, it's a Ponzi scheme requiring new money to pay the old obligations. The "trust fund" has been stolen by the people running the Ponzi.
The IOUs are the Federal Reserve Notes we give to China and others for their goods and to Saudi Arabia and others for their resources. If they are dumb enough to take our "paper" IOUs for their real goods, then let the good times roll. Money for nothing...
Finally, someone explained how the bailout is supposed to work! Oh, now I understand, it is all a *loan*. We will get the money back, *with interest*. Never mind the fact that the IRS will have a gun to our head if we don't pay the taxes to fund all this nonsense, they are looking out for *us*. Now, "Gimme the money"!
What gets me is that the 16th amendment where the income tax was passed only got like 6 states (i think) to sign on it, and your supposed to have 32 or 33 to ratify an amendment. also interviews i've seen has former internal revenue service workers saying that in all of their time working there, they could literally find NO LAW that said that we had to pay taxes! Since they left the IRS, they haven't filed a tax return! Mull that over for a few hours!
