Question about those "weird" images that printed... I had that same issue and then after playing around I found that I had those images on a separate layer. So check your layers and see if that makes them go away.

Also... did you coat the paper pieces with anything to protect them? Great project. Thanks for sharing!

@angiover7 Hi Angie - thanks for that tip - I don't remember having the layers option set - but might have had it that way from a previous project!!! Thanks! Also I didn't coat these as in the end I decided to hang them above our stove as decoration instead of trivets. However, my original plan was to coat them with UTEE - which would have worked for things that weren't exceptionally hot...ie. spoons and coffee cups!!!
